The website itself:
- Logo matches domain
- no contact us page or drop-down menu
- no footer
- decent design on the home page
- DR31, 29,000 BL, RD 756
- Only seems to rank organically for 2 keywords (SEMrush)
- No organic traffic

The blog post:
- Hosted on home page and side bar under "recent posts"
- relevant stock photo added
- article itself could have been written better (mixing topics on electric motors, transmissions, and handbooks) but it won't get any traffic so it's not the end of the world.

One post on a site like this won't be enough to see any ranking improvements so I can't comment on that, but the metrics should help you decide whether or not this will work for your project.
