Just updated my blog to HTTPS from HTTP, how do I change SSL in Google Search Console?

for example my website in my google console is Http://www. website.com
I updated my site to HTTPS:// website.com without the www
its confusing because the last time I asked this on another forum I only got one response and the guy said add it to Domain.
Yes, no need to delete the original http as it contains old data that you can keep.
You can keep both properties in search console with or without https

Just add the property as your domain in your case https:// website.com

I would just add the full URL with the HTTPS protocol and just keep the old one just so you can have access to its historical data.
If you suffer from OCD like me, you can always delete the old HTTP one after 6 months or so.

Thanks so just add the HTTPS// website.com under DOMAIN not PREFIX? Do I still have to do DNS verification?
I think it must be verified already. Does it show verification pending?

You can add https in addition to existing http site. In fact, Google recommends adding all 4 variations: http-non-www, http-www, https-non-www, https-www. If you verify one of them, all others will be automatically verified.
Well I have the HTTP up originally but then I put domain but it wont let me add HTTPS, you just put website.com and it asks for verfication, so I guess I have to add it HTTPS to Prefix instead? that requires no verification.
On the add property, it gives you choice of domian or prefix
If I just add domain which requires you just to put the address without WWW or HTTP just website.com will that cover all forms you listed? but it requests I DNS verify it. While prefix doesn't require dns verification.

Yes, you'll cover all variations with DNS as you're adding root domain.

Since you have migrated from HTTPS (which is superior) to HTTP, it's apparent that you clearly know what you're doing. I'm surprised why people are trying to teach you the importance of HTTPS instead of just helping you.
Now the solution:
You have already done most of the stuff by using redirections. Google will understand the website changes and update its index in a couple of weeks.
Also, remove your existing HTTPS property from the search console and add HTTP one. Resubmit the sitemap, and you're good to go,

add https version and submit sitemap of https version and you are good to go.. dont delete old one...
When you are https version are fully recovered and you see the clicks on search console... then delete the http version,,, wait for like 5-6 months and delete...
It your choice to delete or not... if you ask me, i will keep for about one year and delete,,,, i've done it and it works...

thanks so thats the best option just add DOMAIN not prefix since it covers everything, and don't delete the old HTTP site correct?
okay so you say add the HTTPS version that means adding a url prefix, so im confused others telling me to just add my website root domain which is just WEBSITE.com withut www or https in front, but others say add the HTTPS version which is a prefix
so which one should I do? im getting confused

If you add DNS, then there is no need to keep http site. DNS covers all variations of your site. So, you don't need alternatives for SSL and sub-domains.

your website www or non www? if yes means add https://www.domain if not just add https:domain....
