I closed my stripe account because of a failed business idea, does anyone know if disputes can occur after the account has been closed?

This hasn't happened to me, but I bet they can as your bank account is attached to stripe.
Nevertheless, why don't you ask on stripe or read their TOS?

With credit card processing companies, it is almost universal, that chargebacks can occur up to 180 days from the purchase.

If it wasn't a stealth account then they have your personal details. They can pursue you legally if the amount is significant. Keep your stripe account dormant for 6 months and then close it.
