Lightsail vs Digitalocean

what is your opinion on Lightsail? i used Digitalocean for 2 year and i need to know how it compares to Lightsail.

I have been using digitalocean for a long time (more than 5 years probably). I have not used lightsail directly, but I have used EC2 (afaik lightsail is aws ec2 t2 instances, but a bit more user friendly). EC2 is pretty dope. It is no less powerful than digitalocean according to my experience.

Now, coming to setting these up, I am not sure how lightsail setup works, but setting EC2 up can be challenging if someone is new to DevOps. AWS has a heck of a lot more services and options than digitalocean (often times, it causes confusion rather than being helpful). So, my advice would be... stick to what works for you..e.g. digital ocean, if you do not want to experiment too much.

Thank you, the reason why i'm interested in Lightsail is that there is Windows droplets + easy to setup.
but i really like Digitalocean.

Tastes are different and if you want to find out which company better suits you that worth start trying both of them and testing.
Your own tests will help you to understand which is better.
