With a recent close-encounter with death, the boot has been firming kicked up my a** to get it in gear. I'm director of several businesses that i run day to day, have business partners and staff, an am experienced developer by trade and build high traffic platforms for my customers, yet I (specifically me) am still hand to mouth each month as i have to pay everyone else first, and enough is enough. I want a better life, the measly £1.2k i pay myself is just not enough.
I am going to be building 50 subject-matter specific affiliate websites, making each one operate independently in a specific subject and target specific keywords, with a target affiliate revenue of £1-£2k per site, following the below documented process and only progressing once I see positive markers:
#1 subject matter identification. (come up with random ideas)
#2 longtail keyword research (ahrefs?)
#3 grab domain (namecheap, domain auction portals) with positive DA.
#4 spin up site per the setup below.
Setup:
- Scrape / Digest products specific to the subject matter, daily
- Generate 2-5 articles per week using the the base subject matter as an anchor and using long-tail keywords and "ideas" for the article generator
- Generate the homepage content automatically once every two weeks, rotating through specific sub-subjects (e.g "automotive" is the base subject, then rotate through "Car", "Van", "Lorry", "Motorbike" as an example). (bannerbear)
I know I lack the skills in:
- Marketing
- Keyword research (I hoping by having each site in its own SEMrush account, i can specifically hand off specific sites to contractors to help).
Technical SEO is not a problem. The sites already score 97% on mobile & 100% on desktop on Google Page Speed, GTM metrix and almost every SEO auditing tool.... on the 4 websites i've already built.
I have so far spent 1 week (7 days) on this Journey.
Tips & tricks welcome around keyword identification.
I'll keep this thread updated once a week on either Thursday/Friday.
