How to effectively hire and manage a VA?

I feel like I live in this subreddit asking questions!

My question to anyone who is currently, or has, managed a VA - Where do you hire and how do you communicate your exact requirements?

I am looking to get a VA to manage a shorts channel. Effectively, I would want them to source videos in a specific niche and upload daily to the channel. So nothing too intense, just easy work. After any success, I would then scale to multiple channels, hopefully hiring more VA's.

Any advice on where to find them, which country tends to be best etc. Would be greatly appreciated.

I tried 2 va service and 1 local va , all low quality and total waste of time.
I gave up doing my thing myself.

Try the HAF section, there are many members here who do an excellent job, you just need to be completely specific with what you need, what is your budget, etc.
