Shitcoins and meme tokens are meant to be short term investments. They can make you a lot of money, but once the hype slows down, people will forget about them.
I wouldn't recommend holding SHIB for a long time. It may or it may not be around 5 years from now. Who knows? But serious coins like BTC and ETH will be for sure.
Also, should we enter a bear market, please never, ever buy shitcoins during that period. They may lose up to 99%. Only buy shitcoins during a bull market.
