Indian PM Twitter account hacked with a crypto scam

Someone hacked Indian PM Twitter account and posted a crypto scam link. Screenshot here.
The tweet is now deleted, but I'm sure this guy is now angrier than ever at crypto and wants to ban it even more.
I like how a bunch of old dudes who don't even know how to keep a Twitter account secure make nation-wide decisions about a technology they don't understand.
Fortunately, I'm not from India. Not that the situation is much better in Europe, but at least I haven't heard of bans.

Yeah, they managed to hack a high caliber Twitter account, but didn't even bother to buy a domain name.
Maybe PM's password was "india1234" or something like that.

I always feel either their is something wrong with the platform itself or maybe it's just to be in the news.
I also feel sometimes maybe the account holder does it on purpose after all if you're famous you need to stay in news.

And then these user database breaches of big tech companies where the password is stored as plaintext.

Plot twist: he did it to scam people. That would explain why the link lead to a Blogspot site and not to a full domain.

Anyone's account can get hacked, Twitter is not hackproof at all.

He may or may not know how to run a country, but for sure he doesn't know enough about technology to understand crypto and regulate it.

One does not magically hack someone else's account out of nowhere. PM got hacked because he had a weak password and no 2FA, or maybe he fell for a phishing scam or downloaded malware on his device.
Or do you really think it was a Russian dude who simply chose the account, ran some commands and gained access to it like they show in the movies?

In reality it would not have been hacked.
Someone in the media agency handling PM's Twitter account, would have been bribed a few lakhs or a few thousands of Indian Rupees.
Things in today's world are NEVER what it seems to be.
Games behind the curtains are happening and 99.99% of the world believes the media and what is shown.
In reality there is always a pre-planned game behind every such incident.

I got it, you are a fanboy of that guy. I don't know how he runs the country, and he may as well be the best politician in the world, but for sure he doesn't know enough about Bitcoin to make an unbiased decision about it. Most old politicians don't even know how to turn on a computer.
