:D

@RushingWind said you were absolutely right dear proxygo :D

Joke of course, it's the only fun stuff in this thread

Can you share the references for this, please?

What he's saying is, before the vaccines existed, deaths only happened among the unvaccinated.

Which is right if you think about it. It's common sense.

So, vaccines didn't exist yet, therefore 97% of deaths were unvaccinated. This is brilliant.

Yes, in the pre-vaccine phase (where there was no vaccine available to the world), 100% of those who died would obviously be unvaccinated :)

I was asking for references for the post-vaccine data analysis or any peer-reviewed study that specifically supported the raised claim - that is, "America keeps talking about how 97% of covid deaths are unvaccinated people... This is only true if you ignore the delta cases and use a death figure from before the vaccines were available.".

On July 16, 2021, Dr, Walensky stated (about hospitalizations, not about death) specifically, "over 97 percent of people who are entering the hospital right now are unvaccinated."

About deaths, Dr. Fauci's response was while answering a question about 2021 June:
"CHUCK TODD: It's disconcerting to realize that we have nearly 10,000 people die of COVID in this most recent month that we completed in June. How preventable were each one of those deaths? And how many of them were unvaccinated?
DR. ANTHONY FAUCI: Well, if you look at the number of deaths, about 99.2% of them are unvaccinated. About 0.8% are vaccinated. "

So I was curious as to whether there was any reference to support the claim "This is only true if you ignore the delta cases and use a death figure from before the vaccines were available" made in that post I quoted.

The antivaxxers are absolutely right on that one. 97% of the unvaccinated deaths which happened before vaccines existed were 100% unvaccinated. The other 3% were time travelers.

Hopefully a doctor didn't prescribe you antibiotics when you had the flu since the flu is a virus and not a bacteria.

It's a virus.
Lol. I am very well aware there are no medicines for flu or any other virus for that matter. In most cases antibitotics are prescribed to manage the symptoms, like a sore throat or a running nose or fever.
Y'all have too much free time on hands to try and prove people wrong on the internet.

No they aren’t. And no it’s not about trying to prove someone wrong. Using antibiotics like that is completely unnecessary and the reason for increased antibiotic resistance in the world.

Lots of ppl in my country do not care about covid vaccine, because they have not witnessed or had of mass death reported anywhere within the country and many more believe covid is a scam since they have not seen anyone that have the virus except from the media that keep disturbing our hears with false claims. It seems covid is dangerous to those in western countries but here in my country have never seen anyone that have it except stats that is being displayed on the media by gov which alot believe is nothing but a lie used as an excuse to loot more government funds. Life is normal here and lot do not care about face mask again.

Studies often show that people who resist vaccines in North America are either the less educated OR affluent whites (aka, the racist whites who refuse to accept that they have serious privilege in life and believe minorities just need to work harder).

I've also seen some stats that people with a PHD are more likely to reject the vaccine than drop-outs, not going to believe it though as nobody makes statistics without trying to prove something. It is always biased...

Re: Increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States

Data source of that study is this (10th reference cited here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8481107/ ): https://context-cdn.washingtonpost....c37/note/57c98604-3b54-44f0-8b44-b148d8f75165.

From page 3 of that:

vaccine-hospitalizations.png

The data shows anyone can get infected regardless of their vaccination status. That was what the paper said, essentially.
The data source also shows vaccination DRASTICALLY prevents excessive hospitalizations and deaths.
They are not contradictory.

it never ends. round and round we will go

I don't know what you think that is supposed to demonstrate?

That your interpretation of statistics based on a limited sample in a predominantly vaccinated county is totally wrong?

Hi, thank you provaxxer for provding evidence with your claims and not at all making anything up... no wait.
I'm glad you think its limited because its the article that Bartosimpson initially provided when trying to back up his points.
And I made a direct quote so if its wrong then either the article is wrong or you have completely misunderstood.

So I gave links to the same institution you collect the article from, the one you misinterpret, that show the ratio in cases between unvaccinated and vaccinated is 7:1 in August 2021 which refutes your erroneous read of said article to imply "3 to 1 in vaccinated compared to unvaccinated" (hilarious) and you take that as making things up?
Right. Nothing more to add I guess.

Yeah, I was intentionally being hyperbolic because that's how your less than 10% to almost 100% statement sounded. Glad you can actually see that its hilarious when other people do it. Maybe you can go back and understand how your statement was hilarious now. Now your changing your claim to 7:1.

Also, the links you provide don't clearly show anywhere anything you've said just random links.

I guess you do have nothing more to add, just here to waste peoples time.

10:1 is common sense of interpreting vaccine efficiency (>90% in general) vs resistance in an unimmuned human organism which is 100% of the population pre pandemic since it's a novel virus never encountered by anyone's immune system. Statistics are a dynamic variable and we are yet to see some that fully reflect the real situation, in some years perhaps, what we've got at the current stage is what we've got at all, but it's an approximation of the real value and it will go closer and closer as the sample and the studies evolve.

But I guess i was overestimating your ability to think by merely pointing to a stats tracker (second link has a graph you need to see and understand) and expecting you to get my point. I apologize.
