Yup, saw the exact same not gonna lie.
Can just be a coincidence, although I wish that their commissions were slightly higher than they are normally for some categories.

+1 for this, saw the same! They surely created a mechanism to shave and so, increased the commissions.
 
I'm still at ~22% conversion rate like i have been all year, But also the categories their increasing aren't ones my websites use :(. No Christmas bonus for Leeches' :(

They've been shaving for ages now. Before they were pretty reliable, in the last few years they started shaving HARD.

I know this because I advertised big-ticket items exclusively. Then all of a sudden, I would get commissions for the add-on items, but not the high ticket item a customer bought at the same time.

So for example, I would get the commission for a heavy-duty exercise mat + square trade warranty for a $900 exercise machine. What customer buys a warranty + exercise mat for a specific treadmill, without buying the treadmill? It was so obvious and I saw examples like this constantly in every niche. I wouldn't trust Amazon as far as I could spit them now. I was in a unique position to see this because I focused on high-ticket items and never advertised products under $500
