Niche edit VS Guest Post

Which one is best niche edit or GP?

I would use a guest post if both are same priced and would do that post on my own with well written original content.
This way I'll trust that the post will deliver some traffic besides the SEO effect.

We call it niche edit or Link insertion, which means placing your website link or back-link on an anchor text in an existing content while Guest post means you will have to create content.

Niche edits are extremely valuable if you can get the link from a ranking article on an authority site. You should prefer Guest post if the Niche edit is for an abandoned article that doesn't bring any traffic.

Niche edits are better, assuming they're from a ranking page.

Links from new posts are more natural. I would prefer to get links from new posts.

Getting a link within an aged article with good page authority, some tier 2 links & even traffic is going to be much better than a new post that's made for the sake of adding a link,
Of course, it's the case for a virgin article without any current links within, if it's not the case, you'll need to test & change,
Not to add, that a niche edit wouldn't need content so that actually cut a part of the cost

It depends if the niche edit is on a high-authority and relevant page or not.
If it's not, then you should probably go for the guest post.

i'd take 1 niche edit (actual HQ niche edit on a mildly authoritative domain) vs 20 PBN blogposts of any kind, type, size, security, lack of footprint, organic traffic stats, domain age, anything.. niche edit is the way

Yup. A real PBN is powerful, same as a real guest post is.
Subjective I guess, as there are a lot of sellers selling/reselling the worlds crappiest PBN links for $1 a pop and thye're worthless.
There are sellers offing up DA guest posts which are just as bad though.

Like with most things, spend on quality and you'll see the difference.

the core of our work is done with a "PBN" which is actual authority sites we built over many years, and guess what powers those authority PBNs? niche edits lol.. niche edit is king, some of our highest conversion rates of all time, higher than organic search, comes from the weirdest niche edits, and I assume a ton of our organic backlinks came from the same niche edits (considering where they ended up), eventually leading to big name news niche edits that we didn't even ask for, just bc of being on one, as a 'legit source' niche edit, we got another, and another..

niche edits also are 'one and done', you pay for it, or 'get your way' to get it on an authority site, and it's there, probably forever lol, set and forget, versus the headache of PBN life..

also extremely easy to grab super OG links from top tier sites by running scrapers checking for dead links or moved links and either buying the domain and restoring it from archive, running a 301 redirect on it, or putting a churn and burn lander on it (bc niche edits get organic traffic a lot of super particular traffic)

we have a site that literally is solely built on redirects of expired niche edit domains and it's outranking some actual companies in insurance niche, probably 200 total cost and a few hours of time and the site is profitable and will continue being profitable.. show me a PBN link that can bring that level of authority in, and I'll buy your PBN lol

Niche edit MUST relevant source of topical niche since its inject the topical niche to target sites, while for guestpost its more like getting more authority (it could be relevant source or not relevant). So use it according your need and strategy.
