Yes you can fool Spotify, but I have to agree on that there are easier money making methods than this. Here you need to invest money and time (songs, proxies, bots etc) and first after 3 months you will know if you get any payouts or everything is banned....

Well that I can't help with, depends on what skills you have have. But methods where you can be more sure to get paid for the time and investment you put in. People are of course welcome to start with botting, but should be aware of the obstacles ahead.

The problem is that today more and more people are in the artificial streams and they do it wrong and get caught and it is all of us who have to pay the consequences.

It used to be that you could put out singles with 250,000 streams and not get caught.
Spotify has changed the rules of the game and lowered that number considerably, we assume because of newcomers who don't know how things should be done and are drawing too much attention.

Some tips to save you a lot of time.

Here are some distributors to never use:

Distrokid - They will pull songs, hold your royalties even if spotify has wired the money, and their support is dismal. They make golden balls out of the money they take from fake streamers. This change took place around Jan/Feb 2021 and it has gotten worse over time, before if they got the money they would wire it to the artists.

Recordjet have become small time thieves too, be very careful if you create an account put your name or a relative's name because they don't allow large withdrawals without ID verification anymore.
Also these Germans have a very bad deal with Spotify that makes you wait another month to receive your money.

Tunecore is a music distributor that you can use, but try not to exceed large amounts.


As a general rule if you just want to make some pocket money, you can use ATMs. But if you are aiming for big money, then you should forget about them as they will usually hold your money especially if they don't take any % of your income, because they have nothing to lose by stealing your money. Just the opposite.

We haven't been working with distributors to generate revenue for a long time now, even though we have left a live catalog on absolutely every distributor known to follow the trend.
We realize that now the stream counter has to be lower and lower to not be detected.

Only about 60-70 Tracks.
Im having a hard time uploading Songs at the moment because all of them are getting rejected. Been using solely Recordjet and LANDR

That is sure that spotify are not dumb. They lowered the amount to make streams on one song. Also in an Album you have to stay low.

If you have time for it and you do it right, you still get royalties, it‘s simple as that. A lot of streamers know that but the ones that take royalties, they don‘t talk. It‘s still going on

Had the album of one artist since 2019 and started digging gradually ( from month to month my „fanbase” grew) No problems and had 50-110$ per month for 2 years till March 2021.
Then suddenly I’ve got email from distrokid and next day my music gone completely. Since April I stopped receiving payouts. I ve got emailed 2 times more the same text that due to fraud spotty removed my artist completely.
But since then also I stopped receiving payouts from other stores so be careful about Distrokid.

Also do U think is distrokid burnt in my case ?

Most of the distributo don't pay anymore, anyway you can also go for repost from soundcloud, it's cheap, one payment a year for unlimited track , tunecore is good but expensive, like 10 buck every single

The game is over. They are on to us. They have people reading these forums. They learned our tricks and have adapted. It's probably still possible if you want to try but the likelihood of getting paid after 2-3 months is slim. It is simply not worth it for anyone coming into it fresh.

Sounds good, hope it everything works out. Your songs could be a bit shorter to get more streams per hour.

Update: distrokid deleted my songs and artists after 1 month, took my payout balance without warning and wont respond to emails. Maybe i should switch to another distributor after this loss.

Yes don't use Distrokid. Then maybe you will get in problem on another distributor also, if it is Spotify that flags you.

So been in streaming for a while..

Noticed that Spotify didnt payout the royalties to Tunecore for May and now also June.

Tracks are not beeing removed, streams keep adding to the tracks, Spotify just deosnt payout..

Anybody else experiencing this??

Yo can u delete this feed??! Too many ppl are catching on to this and Spotifys Staff surely reading also. Doesn't make any sense saturating it even more if you actually still want to get paid.

Spotify are deleting a lot of Artists atm and its getting harder to get songs approved day by day. Pls don't let this die out.
