I was just thinking about a classic movie that I had watched Iong time back where many people were looking for a rumored place that had a lot of gold deposits. People came from all over the country and there were many small community hubs growing on the way to this treasure mountain. Since it was a long search that took many days of travel on foot or horses, people needed a place to rest, sleep or eat. These small communities developed into small towns where there were various types of people. There were people who were looking for treasure but then there were people who had businesses built to cater to those people such as inns, cafes, eateries, casinos, bars, shops that sold tools to dig, etc. I don't remember if the people looking for treasure got it or not but the businesses operating around definitely made a lot of profit. I was thinking on similar lines that we are building our web assets that may or may not become money pots but the people we buy services such as content writers, seo, pbn, views, likes, lists, etc. definitely make a profit. Just thinking aloud.....enjoy the weekend and blackfriday sales!!!

It's great you brought this up. You know, the quote that actually attracted me to BHW years ago is this: "stop digging for gold, start selling shovels." Someone on this forum had posted it, and as simple as it may sound, it really caught my attention and I quickly took a screenshot of it and always made reference to it whenever I wanted to derail in my hunt for my own "internet gold." Thankfully, today I've found something that resembles gold, but still refining it so I can profit more from it. So, yeah you're thinking in the right direction.

Right now with the new variant it's the same, selling the shovel (boosters) to miners trying to be free of moving where they want.

I found my gold is education with digital marketing. It's easy to say you know what you're doing, getting educated gives you the balls for the right movements.

not too late, you learned a lot.

Some affiliate programs are worth it but I agree that every digital marketer should spend the time to build a real business instead of marketing someone else's business.
