Hi BHW,
In this thread, i'm going to describe you my plan to build links for my new local website from a to z.
I've built this plan after reading quite a good amount of threads about link building here, watching lot of seo gurus videos and that gave me a rough idea of what I needed to do.
But since I'm relatively new to seo and have never done a link building campaign before, I needed to bulletproof my plan so I can follow it with confidence with the least doubt as possible.
Here we go.
I launched the website on 7th Nov 2021.
I used ahref to get a list of the links my competitors were building and noticed that the vast majority and the most qualitative of their links were citations, web 2.0, event and article submission websites.
- So I made a list of 100 citations websites.
- Found a dozen of articles submission websites
- The same for event submission website
- And build a list of 5-10 best ******** and no-follow web 2.0 and social bookmarking from these threads and websites :
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/updated-web-2-0-sites-list-no-2.1121599/page-3
https://trafficcrow.com/********-backlink-sites-list/
With all being said, here is my roadmap.
1. Build as much as citations as possible from my list of 100
2. Get them indexed :
Here I'm wondering if I should buy an indexing service or put their links temporarily on different pages(homepage, about us, contact us) of my website in order to push Google to crawl and index them.
Please fill free to advise me on this.
3. Social bookmarking
Matt Diggity said that in order to justify you backlinks you should have traffic which will give you social signals and then your social signals will justify your backlinks.
So based on this, my plan with this is:
- Create a new article on my moneysite
- Post it on Facebook, Twitter and some of my other social accounts
- Post the article link on the social book marking website listed above
- Use microworkers to like and comment the posts
- Then create new Web2.0 articles linking back to my moneysite article
- Rinse and repeat
4. Web 2.0 links building to my moneysite blog articles instead of homepage or services pages(in order to make them look natural)
- As stated before i'll use web2.0 in combination with social bookmarking but i'll use it also independently
- From what i've read and watched, I understood that i would need to create between 20-30 web 2.0 in order to start seeing good results.
- From what i saw my competitors are doing I don't think I will need to go this far but i'm not confident in my theory so firstly, i planned to stick to the 20-30.
- My plan is to use unique translated and corrected quality blog posts to feed my web 2.0 but not use spun content.
- However I've also read here that the best with web2.0 is to have a little amount but threat them as real blogs with quality content instead of having a whole bunch with average quality.
So i'm feeling like in contradiction with this and wondering if the idea of 20 to 30 web2.0 with translated content is as good as i think.
Also, Does receiving many links from the same web2.0 and receiving 1-5 from 30 different web2.0 have the same weight in term of link juice?
Which is the best option? Please enlighten me.
5. Buying PBN links
I've read a lot here about PBN links benefits especially for new websites. However I have always been afraid of them till now because of the monthly budget I may need in order to get quality ones, that's why they're my 5th step for now.
I'll try to buy few of them if needed maybe 3-5 considering my 100$ budget and see the results, if i'm converting i'll consider taking more on a monthly basis.
If you have any advice, good threat about PBN link buying, good service with affordable prices, i'm open to all suggestions
5. Guest Posting
For me, when I hear about guest posting, what comes to my mind is :
1. Quality and Unique content
2. NOT TRANSLATED OR SPUN
3. Need to sit and take time to write a really nice article or buy someone to do it
4. Find emails, social accounts, and outreach hoping for a match
5. But high quality and long term link
So I'm planning to look for 1 guest post opportunity per month if possible because of the ressources it demands.
That's a full overview of my plan. Please feel free to comment, improve, give new ideas. I'm open and willing to learn as much as I can.
