Guys, is anyone advertising supplements on youtube (videos)
I wanted to... But I see that YouTube has been taken over by a Portuguese music team)
Is there any point in promoting products there now?
I remember there used to be a lot of different product reviews from different affiliates.
Now these promotional videos are terrible and more like spam.

What do you think ?

If this are female related supplements, you should try pinterest instead (or just promote those)

I've already advertising supplements on youtube. Successfully. But that was a couple of years ago.

I've had a few people write to me saying that these guys from Portugal are blocking competitor videos. oo
Is that possible?

Looks like youtube is best forgotten about.

If you have experience in Youtube, then you should start it again. There are a lot of people who take down competitor videos with one way or another. If you don't do blackhat stuff, then you can get away with most strategies.

He can't compete with them, these guys from Brazil "not Portugal" have verified channels with millions of subscribers, they made 10-20 review videos for a single supplement, they dominate this review world since it's very profitable

People on pinterest are not looking for reviews, but on youtube they are, those are buyer traffic and the conversion are very high 2-3%. you only need 100 clicks to make $200-$400

Because to start you need channels with half a million subscribers, as I understand it. It takes time. It's not going to be quick and easy to get started like it used to be. I will look for other ways. I don't want to spam with bad videos.

It turns out that they make money at the expense of other people's music

Those videos actually work, yeah they look spammy but they convert very well

The same thing on google, it dominated by news website whenever you search for a product review you'll find those news website at the top, the competition is very high on both youtube and google because the profit is very high too

With google, the easiest thing to get on top now are press releases. There is no other way around it, these website are extremely strong and you can't outrank them with new website, that is fresh.

With youtube, I don't have experience, but I see that people are making multiple reviews for one product, they manipulate the algorithm, somehow, buying subscribers and youtube profiles with fake subscribers, buying comments from websites like microworkers etc. Looks like, you need to do some shady stuff with youtube to make it work.

I personally don't like the youtube approach, but maybe you can do it, if you are consistent.

It's a time of all things fake: reviews, comments, videos, articles. It's amazing that there are people who still believe!
