Slippery slope fallacy. Why not ban people from driving, smoking, taking aspirin, drinking alcohol, and the millions of other ways that can kill us in our everyday life. I actually agree that there is a major problem, especially here in America with obesity and bad eating habits. There needs to be better education and initiatives to combat obesity and promote healthy eating habits, but this is a whole other debate.
What you are failing to realize is, this is a global pandemic. Other people's actions can have an effect on my health and my family's health. I can't get fat by watching someone eat a Big Mac. See the difference here?
