Ridiculously cheap $1 to $5 a year hosting plans??

I bought a HostKoala hosting and I'm telling you I've been to many premium hosting and I think the speed is better in Host Koala and it's much cheaper at $3.5 for 1 year. Woooooo

It's good for the beginning, but once you start getting real and big traffic, you will see the server crashing/getting slower.
Same with any hosting with this pricing. They are reselling servers of big hosting like OVH, splitting the resources into many many websites. So this is how they can sell it for such low price.

I am using Interserver.net they have a really nice anti ddos softare built in so the site never slows down for any reason. It seems to instant reboot the server once it becomes slow. I think thats really cool so ive been using them for years

Yeah lol. Everyone wants $$$$$ per month, but they are willing to spend $ per 10 years lol.

just get a good vps, install docker and nginx, and host everything there guys (route through cloudflare if you want to hide the real ip). It’s like set and forget thing. No you don’t need to change the settings often. :p
Super agree, you understand how much a person cares about the project from how much money he invests initially ;)

Hi. I was try few year ago awardspace i think is named and I got like a year for 1 $. So definitely these types of deal still exist but are usual from less known providers. Dont expect the hosting to be super but you can get it cheap and access it ok.

Do you know what kind of PBN he have? Of course, not. So why not using Offshore Hosting instead using normal hosting.
Did you read the title? Cuz, who enters the thread see he is only searching for cheapest web hosting that is.

Your argument "anonymous hosting to commit crimes" is wrong. Is not because is Anonymous that you can think like that or engage in such activities.
Example: Wikileaks.

I'm finish here.
It had nothing to do with crimes and I never said anything about offshore... I was referring to cheap inexpensive for the sake of being inexpensive and whether or not they actually worked... In a pbn doesn't mean anything about offshore or piracy or anything even mildly related FYI

I am in the marketing business for only about 20 years, and still feel like a newbe. Maybe you can explain me what kind of PBN is not about backlinks? If he mentions a PBN in his opening post you can be sure that he is building backlinks. No reason to assume something else. Or am I wrong @DuckingOutstanding ?
Yes of course building backlinks, but what part of that has anything to do with illegal activity or offshore hosting or piracy or anything similar? Not all pbn related activities are nefarious

Is not me who said that.. take a closer look in the name of quote and what he said. Don't blame me...

Google is not going to do this to determine the value of a backlink. I don't believe this thread was created to find anonymous hosting to commit crimes.

I could rather host my website on a raspberry Pi or use free static hosting from services like GitHub Pages or Netlify than use a shared hosting this cheap. Often times these are plain scams and will stop working after awhile.

The cheapest legitimate shared hosting I could find was usually around 7-12$/yr and I couldn't recommend going any cheaper than that. You can find several of these on a forum like lowendbox.com. Had pretty good experience with the services listed on that forum.

Here's their page on shared hosting if you wish to check them out

Raspberry Pi is actually a very good device to consider for hosting. This applies even more if you have a static IP and good bandwidth/speed (and you are connected through LAN, not wifi). Even if you do not have static IP, or you are port blocked, try a packet forwarding service like packetriot. It is still going to be faster and would handle 10 times more traffic than a shared hosting. Tested.

A lot of ISPs don't really allow hosting on home internet connections tho. I have tried it hosting stuff on my pi but my isp throttled my connection once it started receiving some noticeable traffic even tho it's an unlimited connection.

As for throttling, I did not battle test the server (as in flooding with traffic). But for whatever traffic I received, it worked just fine. Perhaps my ISP does not care. I have a 180MBPS unlimited connection by the way (up/down same..).

Damn. I wish my isp was this good...

So I was board and on eBay and came across a slew of these ridiculously cheap (I'm talking I had to like double check to make sure I was reading that right) allegedly unlimited shared and reseller hosting packages for $1 to $5 per year...

Was wondering if any of you guys have any experience using those types of services for they really cheap pbn setup? If so let me know how it went...
Image this..
You are a service provider.
You have invest XYZ amount (tens of thousands+++) for the infrastructure & hardware (with the current prices due to shortage in the industry..), you also have monthly expenses which you have to cover and of course to have some fair profit from it.

Image that you are offering your services for 1$/year which is about $0.083c per MONTH.

Knowing that you have the above expenses, and you are also looking for a profit (otherwise there would be no point to run this business)..what type of service (quality) and for how long you would provide it for .. basically free.

With the current inflation your monthly cost for breathing is much higher than $0.083c / MONTH.

Just my 1 Shiba inu opinion.

They are badass .. =)

Absolutely. Also, Jeff is definitely within the top 3 of my favorite youtubers. Whatever I know about rpi today can be attributed to his videos. :)

There are tonnes of such cheap hosting deals available online but be prepare to risk your business
