hello,
I'm starting a new blog and I'm wondering if I could exploit the low coopetition on local searches to drive traffic to my website and even make affiliate sales.
For example let's say I have a website about fish (pets).
There is a lot of competition for the keyword "fish food" but probably way less on keywords like "fish food in *random city* ".
I could write an article that answer honestly the question about fish food in *random city*, but at the end I could plug my affiliate fish food website as an alternative of buying fish food in person.
What do you think about that? Is is feasible? Have you already done this before?
Also, quick thought that came to mind just now, the physical shop that i mention in my article could pay me back by giving me a backlink from his website or his socials, what do you think?
Thanks guys
