I literally have 0, I'm from 3rd world country where online opportunities are very limited, I don't want to make 10$k a month or something, I just need to cover my basic expenses until I do what I'm passionate about, I'm currently freelancing but it takes months to get a client, any help is much appreciated

What skill?

There isn't a freelancer available on Upwork that can code Python/Django relatively well and available for hire at $20/hr.

Why don't you just fill in the market gaps and demand instead of crying?

100% agree.

and out of curiosity python programmers only make $20 / hr? that sucks

make a blog and try to write the content is not easy but you go with few time to $$$

in first times don't wait the visitors comes from google

try to use pinterest and reddit after few months if your content is well optimized SEO you will see your firts visitors from google

If you have a bigger dick , let him do your wife , make sense
OP what are you passionate about ? i know its easy to talk (from my end or whoever reading this ) but i know the feeling , its not easy to make it or even to make a living of it , but trust me it worth it ) , try doing a list of what you are good with (logos/coding....) find multiple freelancing websites ... , come back everyday to this forum and search more , read more , lot of indo out there too .
Being from 3rd word country is a + though , you need to make less to live better
Agree, freelancing in 3rd world countries is very successful because local currencies are inferior to the $ , (1 USD is equal 16 here) anyway I'm currently doing transcription and VA, recently joined tryhackme premium and I'm doing so well, but it will take time until i make decent income from pen testing and sys admin, I'm desperate for any quick cash that covers my expenses

Ouch! Being broke is terrible.

Don't use being in a 3rd world country as an excuse. In each country, there are lots of opportunities when one is being the CEO of their own life.

Take for example; Andy Mukolo of nairaroad.com. He is a copywriter.

How would you like us on here to support you more?

100% agree.

That's like starting wage I'd say.

I know some FAANG engineers making $375k/yr in the US but then again everyone hates the US so whatever lol.

what do you mean everyone hates the US?

If you do infosec, easy: you register on bug bounty sites.

Otherwise, you look for all the security challenge sites and you make a site (with AdSense) where you throw away the solutions. You just have to hide the solutions from URLs like AdFly, you squat the security Discord to throw the link of your site, you do the same for Twitter, etc.

However, do it intelligently and under a pseudonym, the community doesn't really like spoilers.

If you're really broke, if you've got zero money to start with, make a blog on BlogSpot or another free blogging platform, stick some AdFly links in it, at least it'll make you some money.

Otherwise, the CoinBase quiz to get some free crypto.

I'd say build an authority blog but that takes time.

Your best bet is to pick an affiliate product/service (try viral products that sell on black Friday) and spam those links on fb groups, TikTok, everywhere you can.

Do it a bit smarter than everybody else, not just spamming naked affiliate link.

Use free web 2.0 (sites.google.com etc) if you need a landing page.

When you get your first conversion/sale, repeat the steps that lead to it. If you do that all day you'll make money fast.

If you are freelancing well, you should be getting repeat business. If you are not getting that, you have the wrong type of clients, or you are bad at retaining clients.

Get a job. Preferably with an agency. It will give you the required discipline to work consistently. It will also give you exposure to your employer's client management process.

Once you get the discipline and are confident in getting clients, go ahead and do what you want.

There is another option: You write somewhat sensibly. Start writing for other people. You can open a BST here, once you become eligible.

Whatever you do, make sure to deliver what the client wants when they expect it.

Completely non-promotional...
Check my signature of a guide about keeping the clients you do get.

Bruh, hustle in your town.
What country are you from? I'll help you right now.

His best bet right now is to look for a job around him. Once you have a job, you can then consider a IM as a side hustle. Many have already recommended a few options (skills etc). Anything online can't earn you the immediate money you want, the only thing that can do that is an offline or even online job but locally.

You have to be very lucky to make money from your very first trial online.

I'm from 3rd world country where online opportunities are very limited

How are they limited? How? Explain me the limited?!?!

You're here on the internet of things. There's 100 Billion people on the internet of things. Each and every one of them is a potential customer for you.

So where is the limited? No. The only limitations are in your head.

I don't disagree that people from 1st world countries have better access to things, like payment processors for example. A US account on whatever marketplace is generally valued more and has higher chances of getting customers than one from Whateverstan.

But if you're good enough, you will win. The marketplace doesn't give two shits about where you live.

The 3rd world country argument is just an excuse you and your compatriots can rally around and whine about and use as as excuse for your inability to crush it!!!

If you're good at copywriting, scrape emails and cold pitch clients
4/10 will respond back if you can offer value

You'd be surprised to learn that programming and IT jobs pay that much per day.

20/hr would be 42k/year, even full time positions at Google and Microsoft don't pay that much in tier 3 countries.

You got some really nice advice...

Listen, I am also from 3rd world country, I've been up and down, I know how it is not having for a damn bill while having a child yelling at your face "I want this daddy", you know...

The most common BS I hear non-stop is "my country is bad - economics - can't find a job in my country - my country is shit" and other crap.

I'm desperate for any quick cash

This ^^ in combination with "my country is..." is, will lead to the worst possible scenario!

You don't need to listen to me, if I had someone to tell me all this in my face years ago, I would kiss his ass today.

First, @macdonjo3 gave you 1st class advice.

Second, stop thinking about quick cash, such a thing does not exist, and thinking in that direction is stopping you from taking long-term action.

Making $20/$40 is "easy" today... Take that money and invest in a website.

You are in a bad situation, crying loud is not going to make it any better, being negative, spending hours, days, and weeks in trying to find that "fast-cash method" just to realize you just lost another month...

Just take action and start B U I L D I N G!

Take the best out of each advice you got here, and make something out of it...

All the best!
