converting web 2.0 links to good links?

I've been working on a blog on a subject related to my niche and created some posts that link to authority generic sites and some link to my site on medium.com, It's all drafts until now and nothing is crawled.
so If I bought a domain and used it instead of blog.medium.com would google treat the blog as a normal site or as a web 2.0 site?

You want to use custom domain while keeping the web 2.0 hosting? For example: mybrand.blogspot.com -> mybrand.com

In that case I think yes, it would be treated as a standalone website even though hosting is the same. Quality would definitely go higher.

As a normal site. It’s still using medium servers so you probably couldn’t pull this off multiple times with the same juice (from multiple domains hosted on medium)

I prefer to have a normal link (eg medium.com/user/post) rather than having a custom subdomain. Because the value of each subdomain is independent of the main domain. So even if you have a custom subdomain, you won't have a link of the same value. You can test this on your own website.


Also If the subdomain and domain had the same value, we would probably be able to check all the inbound links and reports in a single panel without any special validation in gsc.

Sure have and it worked without problem. But on a small scale of 10 units.

It's a pain to train someone to use all those platforms and also give them access so management and scaling is an issue.

web 2.0s hosting are really great when it comes to break down pbn hosting,
mix them up with a variety of others hosted in the same vps with different cloudflare accounts as well as a good expired domain for the money site with good number of rds (100+) and you wont even need any other hosts,
use this for a small or medium PBN, anything more than 50 domains would need more diversity
