[FILE ON MY SERVER] ---------------> VPS PROXY ---------------------> CLIENT

Hi, I have a server and I would use VPS (Microsoft Server 2019/2022) to hide my original server and deliver the content (media). I tried to run IIS on VPS and had it connected to my domain as A record, but don't know how to set this up. My server has about 30Tb of content and just need really fast VPS to forward the content.
I tried googling this but don't know what terms to google in the first place, can someone please point me in the right direction or suggest any apps for windows server that can do this. Could also use some suggestions if I can buy it here on forums from someone, this is partially copyright content but it's not open to public. And I don't want to use a mainstream CDN, they can leak my info at any time to anyone...

Thank you.

Have a look at plans from qhoster.com and luxhosting.lu, they can be helpful for you.

Try cloudarion.com hosting. I know their work is based on quality.

Which way of hiding your VPS do you use or trying to use?
Please explain with more details as it is still unclear.

You mean proxy your server's ip? cloudflare could do it for you for free. unless i'm not following...

You are talking about reverse proxy i think. For that you might need haproxy or nginx

If I understand correctly, you have data on ServerA, and you want to deliver to be able to "deliver" the content from a different IP to hide the original server?

Could you please elaborate on what do you mean by "delivering content" is it streaming? downloading the content ?
Could you also please elaborate on the type of content, Audio, Video, Image?

And finally, could you please elaborate on how the content is currently stored on the server.

This way I think we could give you more relevant answers.

I'm running a website which serves images/videos, I just want to have the source of those files point to a proxy and not the real server. I'm allready calling them as blobs with obfuscated java script.

I was thinking something like a seedbox to do this. Basically I have image and video content on servers, I don't want regular user to know the real source so I want to mask the traffic by pushing it trough a middle-man server, this traffic isn't something big, so some basic 0.5-1Gbit seedbox would do the trick. I just don't know how to configure one to put in "source content ip" and connect it with an A record on my domain. Can this be done on a plex seedbox ?

haproxy is what you are looking for

Hi, thanks for the detailed answer.
First of all, if the content you're serving fall under the DMCA, i strongly suggest you to choose offshore / specialized hosting (strongly strongly).

Beside, what you are actually looking for is a reverse proxy, but again i would strongly suggest you to hire a professional to do this due also to the nature of the content you're serving.

Just get another cheap VPS from DMCA ignored providers like Buyvm/ incognet if you are dealing with copyrighted stuff or any other VPS should work.
You can then setup socks proxy/ Wireguard on this new server and route traffic from your Windows IIS server through this proxy.

For the amount of files I currently host, there isn't a viable offshore option that can load balance that much for the amount of money I am paying. Offshore proxy most definately, the issue is I need to be able to change IP either manually or by request at minimum 24-48 hours, there's reason for this

weird that ur content isnt open to the public yet ur still very concerned.
either way, just go the basic way
YOUR SERVER
CHEAP VPS (to host main domain)
CHEAP VPS (to host link obfuscator domain & proxies to hide originating ip)
and 2 seperate cloudflare/bunnycdn accounts(which u dont ned to provide real details to)
now link ur server files to obfuscator domain to show on main domain which loads through the allocated proxies.
it looks difficult, but thats what i do for my movie/anime streaming sites and its pretty straight forward.
if u want to change ip's all the time, then u gotta ask the hosts about that or purchase more.

As I know, nice hosting solutions along with useful features are offered by hostingsource.com web host. The uptime is excellent, their promise of 99.9% is correct.

Pleased to deal with rockhoster.com web host. They are extremely helpful not only with problems but with any questions I've had, and the backbone of their hosting - cPanel - is a great tool to control and administer 1 website or a dozen.

So far QHoster.com has been an exceptional host. They are fast, great customer service. I have no complaints.
