Again PayPal...Again, on 1st November

Something similar happened to me, dispute rates of 1.21% and then 1.35%, and it is written that if it exceeds 1.5% there is a chance that I will even lose PP.

The problem is that I didn't do anything bad to deserve it, the kid was banned from BHW for a reason of course and he went for revenge, my first and only dispute.

On August 25 I received an email for 1.21%

September 25 for 1.35%

It was said that they would review it every month, I did not receive any more emails from them.

Reason?

I was almost sure I'll get some limits on my PP, it didn't happen and I can only say it is because of more transactions done, more money went through the system, whether that is the reason or not I cannot claim but, I did expect to lose PP.

Worst of all is that I have to use them, I still have to...

I can’t believe that even though I come from a third-world country, 2012/13/14 I had better options when it comes to payment processors than in 2021!

Dude, create stealth paypal accounts and use them accordingly. Better to have several paypal accounts than 1 big established account that can suddenly crush your business if suddenly banned. OR, just accept crypto.

All I can say is that they (Paypal) now think that all digital / non-physical products are scam (unfortunately). I've embraced crypto for payments & very happy. And wait another 2 years, buyers will no longer say "I do not use crypro".

Nowadays Strip and PayPal are in a competition between themselves for limiting / suspending accounts of people who sell non-physical / digital products. It is their "digital sellers ban olympics" . But, thank heavens, after 2 years, buyers will no longer say "I do not use crypto".

For real now. I don't know how Paypal would work if you're processing large payments amounts, a large number of payments, or subscription services.

But I will say that having for example 5 paypal accounts and receiving $100 per month on each versus having 1 paypal and receiving $500 per month on it is much safer.

Have multiple accounts and spread the money you receive between them as much as you can.

Having said that, fuck paypal, fuck them right in the ass!!!

Seriously, if you only offer Paypal to your customers, what's the hell is your problem? Payoneer, Transferwise, Perfectmoney, Payeer, 2checkout, Paddle, Stripe, Skrill, Neteller, CRYPTOS, go all out dude. Offer everything. Offer as many of them as you can.

And don't worry about cashing out. Like weird ones like Perfectmoney. You can move that money to your bank account. And if you can't, you can buy crypto with it. Then flip the crypto.

Fuck paypal man. I used to operate with only 1 paypal account for years. The best thing I ever did was diversify my payment platforms that I use. Nowadays I even refuse people who can only pay with paypal sometimes.

Like the other day someone contacted me to buy something and their message was ALL IN CAPS LOCK. He wanted to pay with Paypal. I refused to sell to that guy. ALL CAPS right off the bat could be an indication you're dealing with a neurotic person who'll flip out in 3 seconds. Next thing you know you're reading his ALL CAPS on the paypal dispute page. And then next thing you know you've been permanently suspended and paypal is giving you an anal probe.

Me too. Nowadays, when receiving paypal payments, I ask a third party to get the payment for me and he sends me crypto. That way, I get paid in crypto and the buyer pays with paypal; and the third-party takes a cut and I stop wasting time with paypal lol

Guys please STOP this crypto shilling and understand his business operation (or growth your operation to understand the challenges) you can clearly see that @Stan Fox is running a bigger than average operation, you crypto guys seem to NOT understand simple concepts that are common in business that are NOT POSSIBLE in crypto example: recurring payments, automatic conversions between currencies (even if you pay a conversion fee), invoice integration etc......

There are still MANY challenges that crypto is unable to handle, so please just STOP thinking is the holy grail and that people are not massively accepting it for ignorance or reluctancy is because they are still very limited tools to support an entire business operation in crypto

The thing is - I used 2checkout
But a lot of my clients said they were not re-subscribed next month while paying paypal through 2checkout

I suppose it happens because they UNSUBSCRIBED from 2CO payments from other services and PayPal decides not to subscribe anymore

So they pay 1 time, but they can't pay each month automatically and this is a big miss for me.


I have not used paddle, but supposed to see the same things there.
I tried to approve there but had no luck. It seems the approve has to be a little bit tricky there For SEO services

See how his issue is specifically with recurrent payments, I am not sure what is your business volume @Stan Fox but maybe is time to upgrade to have your own merchant account, talk to your bank explain your operation, and show them your revenue and cash flow operation IF necessary leave some money as deposit I read you "lost" 13k pounds with PayPal that for sure can easily be used as collateral for your merchant account I recommend you to talk to companies that have experience handling businesses with higher chargeback ratios (gambling and adult), they will assess your risk level correctly.

You can buy fully verified PayPal accounts on BHW to get up and running again. Its part of doing business on Paypal that this will happen.

You seem to be working with big clients on a subscription basis so my advice would be to use paddle and process credit card payments instead.

You won't have to bother with PayPal. You could even have a little message on the checkout page that says contact us for PayPal or something so you can still offer it but you won't be as exposed.

He may lose a lot of money in transaction fees, and there is a moment where your time becomes more valuable than handling ALL the requirements need it to manage several paypal accounts, the main benefit of paypal is their wide acceptance in the digital world.

Stan, my theory is that PayPal categorized your account into a higher risk tier, not much different than SMM sellers. They probably treat SEO services the same way. I used business PayPal to accept payments before and even had a much higher dispute rate than you, and the only thing they ever did was hold my funds longer, otherwise it was always fully functioning. They also repeatedly called me on the phone but never limited my account. It was a digital business, but nothing related to marketing or SEO.

dude, there are smart contracts out there. CLEARLY, they can be used for those type of situations. Also, for invoices, there are solutions like BTCpay server which you install it in your own server and it's completely under your control.

Also, if paypal is the desired way, just open a bunch of accounts and stealth them so that the payments seem to come NOT from the money site,, but from smaller sites so you keep under the radar.

I rather have 200 subscribers in 20 paypal accounts than all of them in 1 big account that at any time can be taken down and banned for any reason.

Use https://payments.changelly.com/ - you just generate the invoice and they pay with USD - credit cards. Otherwise, no one will take that risk.

There are entire countries that are banned by the high level of fraud committed or by international law, there are not risky transactions just transactions that have wrongly priced, the answer you gave me is absolutely useless, why do I go all this way instead of asking for an international bank transfer and then I manually change all the crypto? why to use Paypal or stripe or anything else?...... this is exactly the point I made in the comment you answered, you are not solving the problems we are facing with crypto you just keep repeating the same false mantra "is too risky" , copying and pasting the same comment I made in the thread I posted asking for help and all ou crypto shills came: "The chargeback feature was an issue in adult, gambling, and software for many years until there were some banks that measure the risk accordingly and offered those services that is why I was asking for it."

its hard to gain trust from PP. on my business account (Im US based) I used my companies EIN ( like ssn but for a company)

I suggest starting a JV thread, I helped a guy on here in collecting money through my pp ACC and I just paid him via bitcoin... we did that for a few months until he stopped doing his business but it was a good jv for both of us because in his country he didn't have to pay taxes on BTC so he just paid me a % of the profits and it was like he's paying taxes.

Guys, as already mentioned in the thread - our volume is pretty big for ONLY crypto or stealth payments. Moreover, we are working legally, paying all taxes etc.
Also crypto is unusable for recurring payments.

I have 2 companies here in US and the main one in my home country where all my company and staff are based.


@patadeperro - you got straight to the point. I'm already working on opening my own merchant through BOFA and got approved. A matter of time when we'll start using it avoiding stripe.

But for Paypal - the question is open. I can't refuse people to pay through PayPal if they want. But I think we will force them to pay by CC with additional discounts or some promo stuff. Because now we have 75% of all our payments made through PayPal and this SUCKS...

They will do that even if you sell food to starving children. They once locked my much-needed money for 21 days. Anyway, try using Revolut, Payoneer, or Perfect Money, if possible.
