The Reason Why I'm Sticking with the Copy Claim Method

I'm confused, why some channels that use exact same method (robotic voice and repetive content) are still in YPP and some channels (like mine) are not accepted.. I feel overwhelmed by the situation and it's very frustrating when you see your channel die after working so hard
Channels using robotic voices don't stay too long in YPP they get banned eventually, remember just because some people are showing ads doesn't mean they're monetized and if they are and they aren't using copy claim they eventually will get demonetized. Stay safe and use a regular voice point blank period, don't make it more difficult on yourself than it needs to be. If you want to continue to use the robotic voice you must use the copy claim method. YouTube will review your channel regularly and one of the reviewers will notice a robotic voice and demonetize it. I was talking to a guy about it this past summer he says sometimes he was monetized for long periods of time then he would get demonetized. It didn't end for him until he stopped using the robotic voice completely.

It can be very frustrating for sure, trust me I've been there and still figuring it out. Don't give up just keep working through it until you get your channel 100% safe against demonetization.

just one question.

how will you sustain this?
to me so far it seems only suatainbale via adsense.

you may get your payouts but almost everyone i know is getting their money frozen and distributor accounts banned when they start earning a lot.

so you may receive your payouts a few times but what is the point if you will get banned eventually because then you cannot sustain your income.

there are only some blackhat mcns which i heard about that wont freeze money.
but remember that youtube is involved in this crackdown and distributors ban releases etc
So far it's been going well for me for 2 years but I haven't made that much money yet so I fully expect it to end for me at some point as I already got banned from TuneCore earlier this year so I have plenty of experience with this method. I just haven't made more than $5k just yet in a single month.

I don't expect it to be sustained for that long but I'm looking through blackhat solutions to keep it going for the future. Hopefully, I'm blessed to find an MCN or distributor who accepts it.

I'm doing this to bridge things until I get my AdSense channels making a full income consistently as that's still my main goal but AdSense isn't easy so I'm still working through the best way to keep my channels 100% demonetize proof.

What kind of copyrighted material gets striked instead of claimed? How are you sure that the tv clips you upload don't get striked?

The downside of this is that it takes about 2 months or more to get paid and your account can be deactivated at any time if you don't have an MCN to collaborate with. Everything else is an advantage.

Usually any sort of full clips of TV shows, sports games, and movies like something close enough where it's pretty much a lengthy part of an episode. Most of the time it depends on the company you're dealing with as well as some companies are more lenient than others with their content.

You can never be sure you have to upload through trial & error and just experience. If you get struck then you know that company's stuff is not worth uploading to your channel. Unfortunately, you're just going to have to risk it because you can never be too sure.

Yep, that's the real downside for sure is starting out there's about a 2-month process until you get paid starting out. Once you start getting paid it's around 45 days after the last day of the month to get paid for that month.

Not having an MCN is a real downside as well and these MCNs have been hard to find unless you know someone willing to share that MCN with you but for the most part everything is an advantage. To me, it's worth it to at least start it out at least.

I had around 2.7 million views in August and that gave me $2.2k so now I know how much I'd probably need to make that type of a number so lately I've been really focused on one of my bigger channels.
$2.2K from 2.7 million views is high earning for copy claim method. What network do you use please?

It is an I actually had it wrong initially, I forgot that the channel was monetized for 7 days and I had a few videos that didn't use the copy claim method so I think it's somewhere more between 1.5-2 million views. I'll be able to give you guys a more accurate figure in the future.

This was with DistroKid only for this one.

I am trying to sign up for Distrokid and it's not free to join.

Yeah, DistroKid and all of these distributors are not free to distribute music. Yeah, I used the cheapest plan which was the Musician plan and you have to pay for the individual songs you submit as well.

Thank you!

Appreciate my friend!

Oke, it's happened. I just logged into my Distrokid account and all my music and money are deleted and the transaction history is gone.

Since August. My first check was 480 dollars, and 3 days ago my royalties for September were something above $3k, When I tried to make a withdrawal all songs were deleted and I didn't receive the money. Here is SS where you can see my dashboard. It looks like I haven't uploaded any music ever. But when I go to "bank" and "see breakdown by artist" you can still see how much I have "earned".

Oh, snap, maybe you made too much money with them too fast. It took 2 years to finally make $2k with them so maybe they suspected suspicious behavior.

I've never seen my dashboard look that way at all where everything just disappears like that so I'm not sure if that's the way it looks when they freeze your account. See if you can make a separate thread so somebody on here can confirm that you indeed had your account frozen.

How many songs did you upload and what kind of videos were they attached to? We're they at the end or something?

I wonder if you got flagged for making too much too fast.
