When can i see improvements for high comp keywords?

Hello everyone, so I was working on a website lately

The website is 4 months old with Fresh domain name, Article done by me, pictures too
Both On-Page and Off-Page SEO done, almost half of the backlinks are the same of my competitors "done manually", start building them in the second month after publishing 25 articles, the website have 64 articles in total now

I'm I on the right track? do I still need to build backlinks or wait for legendary "Sandbox"?

Backlinks are built to the homepage + to targeted article "niche related"
Anchors not abused, good rate with generic, random and low and high competitions keywords

The CTR is so bad, but still those articles that may provide high CTR aren't ranked yet



I'm only ranked for low competition keywords in the first pages till now



Do I need to do anything else, or just wait?

This is my first SEO project, I apply it on that website after reading a lot of threads related in BHW, never done SEO before. So no idea how the outcome will be.

Some articles have +1000 +1500 and some are +500 words.



Only 45 articles indexed so far, in the indexing part, I let that done naturally

Any suggestions what can be done to improve ranking for high comps keywords?

I would build powerful PBN links. It looks like you rank but you have to rank higher in the more competitive and higher searched keywords.

So far, 64 articles seems good for your site.

Authority backlinks Can work Like Charm

If your content is optimised, all that's needed would be links,
I would say that you're just understimating the number & quality of links needed to rank, manually built links doesn't necessarily mean they're HQ,
Start building your PBN with some good domains and you'll see some decent results,
you can go with renting out homepage PBN or some genuine websites (if available) links as well as they're kinda cheaper especially if you're starting out
