Anyone still using AI generated voice in their videos?

Hey all,

I recently did some research about high quality AI voiceover software/services and came across few, which are almost indistinguishable from natural human voice.

I'm wondering if there are people here who still have their channels monetized and they use such AI voice for narration?

Why don't you just record your own voice? Doesn't matter if you're not a English native speaker. Try to speak clear and loud, and that's it.

Why not? I have multiple channels monetized with AI voice. The thing is that I use my brain and do the following

1) Find a good AI voice, pay if you must but it needs to sound similar to human's voice and not robotic
2) Edit the voice using Audacity or any other voice editing program so it differentiates from the stock AI voice
3) Enjoy

It's not that hard and plenty of other people are doing it too. I don't see why people complain that "it's bad", "you will get demonetized" and such...

There are many good software, as long as they speak naturally: Talkia, Speechelo.

i constantly get ad from spechify but I do not recommend ai voices, it does work yes, but your average view time will be small, and that's a fact

Real voice overs are the best just paying the extra for commercial use is crap

As they advised you above, you should use a program to modify the AI voice in a way that does not allow Youtube to find out that it is an AI voice.
Audacity is one of those programs.

I been using play.ht which is probably the best since its ai generated, but costs $19 a month and gives you 20k words at their cheapest package.

Good for making quick biography, and news information.

You can use Google AI voice for like short ironic videos like memes, tiktok, etc. But for professional video You can use your own voice or hire an voice over person!

Whichever software you use, some editing will be required to make the voice more human like
