I'm wondering...

Does Tiktok know if the same video has been posted several times? If so, what are the consequences?

I am growing an account and it is possible that I post videos already present on tiktok, I do not risk shadow ban or something like that?

Ok so basically they do know if the video was reuploaded. They are basically analyzing the pixels. I was testing it recently. If you repost the same video on different account it won’t go to fyp. However, if you tweak the video a bit, maybe adding some captions outside of TikTok, playing with filter for a bit, adjusting the brightness/contrast, it usually does the job for me.

i tried the same too, usewatermarks. or just zoom in the video by a couple percent. worked for so far without any problem

It varies. Some videos get a lot of traction and some don’t. At the end of the day TikTok is very random. Any video editing app will do. Either on the phone (personally using instashot) or any video editing software for pc/mac

They can detect this and it will affect your account.. So do not post same video twice.

yes this worked for me. but I have never really took tiktok videos and reposted them. but if you take them from youtube shorts and play around abit with zoom its no problem. and all the videos I edited myself. I can reupload them basically as often as I want. Had the same video also go viral twices. I just zoom in a couple % or move it up or down a little bit. maybe add another watermark and it will count as new video

They can catch if you just repost the same exact video. Try change some elements in it and make it unique otherwise you risk limitation/ban

You get 0 view if you repost original contents. After you download original contents to second device, use screen recording to re record original video, than post it to your second device

Same here, I see people re-up the same videos and it gets tons of views. I think if you simply add some text or a background frame/border, add anything that makes it slightly different, it will be ok.
