I heard about many softwares that can manage balances, debts, expenses ..etc but yet i prefer to stick to my spreadsheets i've got a whole one for my life expenses, separated on categories : food,transportation, pleasure, learning ..etc to see where my money goes. & got another one for my projects with Balances, debts (for offline projects) and expenses, i even added a couple of tables to calculate exact costs, (studied accounting in college) i got obssessed with the ABC tables, and even though it took me a hell of time to set them up (i do changes them regularly) until i got the final version, they helpem me a lot and hope your share would help others achieve higher level of productivity. Well done bro !

I tried them too, but nothing beats a well designed spreadsheet
I'm doing exactly the same thing for every cent that I spend or receive, and it's very liberating when you know how your money moves.

I hope the same thing, that's why I want to share these. However, I'm in no way a trained accountant, so if you have any feedback on what can be improved please feel free to let me know.

I want to say that it's important to keep track of things, But at the same time i can say with confidence, every penny i spend is painfully etched into my brain like a hot iron brand. Great share, i made a copy!

I'd say that the main difference is that it's here and members will see it. Someone who didn't plan to search for a spreadsheet to track their expenses might stumble upon it and start using it.

Also, it's specific for starting a website or a similar project, so maybe that's what makes it unique?

I don't know, I haven't really checked what available online (even less offline), I've shared the spreadsheet I'm using after making some changes and adaptations and I'm not selling it, so it's not like I'm competing with anyone and worry if it's unique or not.
I just hope someone finds it useful

The expenses & balance sheet is really good as it is, & it depends on what Data a person want to get, when you have different projects with "crossover" expenses, you may want to get your total expenses,revenues & profit as exact as you can, that's where the ABC method can help, i might share a couple of example tables but i have them in french, anyways if anyones here needs help plz drop me a pm !

To anyone who has already copied the sheet: I have found an error that made the sheet ignore the first few rows of the "months" section, so some numbers may be wrong. I have fixed it now, so please redownload the sheet. If you have started using it already and filled it with data, PM me to tell you how to quickly fix it.

I've finished the sales sheet now and I'm writing guide before posting it. Income (mostly focused on websites or similar projects) is coming after that, and you'll be able to use both of them together and connect them in the final balance sheet.

You can do that, I'd suggest creating one that connects the two for the overview of overall expenses.
