The company I am working for wants me to increase their site DA from 45 to 60 within 2 months (i.e) in Jan 2022 the site DA should be 60
Seriously is it possible and what is the point?

Okay. And what they think they have from that ?

The DA from ahrefs is only a Number for high ******** links. You can build Spam links with DA.

Or you buy expired Domains with a lot of Backlinks and make 301 redirect to your Domain. That should be the fastest way to increase the DA. But its not the right way for real Link building. And have not realy an effect to the Traffic or the Rankings of the Site.

Better Long Term SEO with building niche relevant links.

But okay the customer is king.

It is possible but it will cost them enough, do they think they will make money from such a thing?

I am really tired of explaining all the organic link-building stratgy to them.
I suggested the to do at least one guest post-campaign to see the results. They said NO.
I gave a list of high-quality backlinks opportunities from our competitors where we can reach out and try to get a backlink. They said it is a time-consuming process and the bloggers might as for payment so NO.
The want me to go through each and every competitor's backlink data and to find free backlink opportunities (i.e) to get forum backlinks.
I went through at least 10 comps and found a bunch of forum backlinks. The competitor has an organic backlink from the forum from the discussion. They want me to place a backlink where our competitor has. I told them it will not work. But they forced me to do that and show the result. All the content ended in spam.
Man, I am really tired.

I told them it is possible if we have an internal team who dedicatedly does link building. No response form their side.

If so, I would continue to do as they say, in the end they are the ones who lost a lot of money by paying you to do something that will never work.

It is possible after investing a huge amount. To achive this you should by a quality Backlinks and make
301 redirect to your domain.
But I think It will take a more time than 2 months.
