A (fairly) Easy Method To Make Some Money

Does this really work in 2021 when everybody with smartphone can create a flyer? All teens around me use IG 20h/day (LOL) and i cant imagine how I can beat them.

Alright, we creates 20 designs. Set up a basic portfolio website. Contacted 20 restaurants.

Now let’s wait. :)
Nice to see someone putting some action in a method, the only thing you gave a to lose is some $$ and time but you will learn some new things, keep us updated!

Did you put your real work as a portfolio on your website?

Definitely don't want to hijack this thread.

But here's an update so far.

Out of all 20 emails that were sent 10 hours ago. One answered saying they appreciate the offer but are not interested.

Let's hope we get more responses tomorrow.

@wchu88 all designs are indeed listed on the portfolio.

Are you tracking open rates or are you using just gmail?

Doing this completely without any money, so unfortunately I cannot check open rates :/

There are chrome extensions for that, so you can 100% for sure check if the email is opened or not.
For most of the users, if some users use extensions that block tracking images or images in total then it's
not possible, but consider this correct to 90%.

You need a GOOD COPY, a GOOD TITLE, IRRESISTIBLE OFFER.

And I would focus on making a canva template for seasonal offers.

You can for sure get a 70% acceptance rate if:

1. Template is eye-catchy
2. Offer is reasonable aka for $20 you will get:
3x Facebook pixel-perfect image
3x Twitter pixel-perfect image
3x Insta pixel-perfect image

and include sales copy they can use.

Target smaller businesses that don't have social media managers.

If you can easily change product image and title in templates aka if you can do this in 5 min,
I see no reason why you can't get $1000 in 5/6 hours.

Btw nice idea indeed.

Thanks for the recommendation regarding the extensions.

Please do test this method out, would love to see you get a 70% acceptance rate.

As this is just a test, I'll be completely transparent about how I've set things up.

Title email: [[BusinessName]], the holidays are on their way!

Body email: Hey [[BusinessName]],

I see that you are active on Instagram with 782 followers (now 783), but don't have theme-based designs, only food images.

Grab your follower's attention and achieve more reservations with designs that convert.

Click the following link and choose one or more designs that we will customize for your restaurant.

The site looks great!
For the sales pitch, I would recommend a slight change:
"My recommendation for you to draw the attention of more users is to use designs that are visually engaging. This has the benefit of more people liking your photos on IG, but also bring in more followers as well.

I specialise in making bespoke and customised images for clients to share on their Instagram account. My site can be found at the following link:"
Btw, that isn't my usual pitch, yours is great. It's just a way to tweak it to drive more people in by throwing in some buzz words they've probably heard before.

Really nice touch as well with saying about their deserts

Love the idea OP! So it's essentially high quality pictures which they post on their social for whatever particular occasion? Did you try this in a small or big city? I'm assuming more competition in bigger cities.

And would you show them some samples? to build some trust?
This was tried in a modest sized city.
As for examples, I send over watermarked images.

Just google it, there are tons of extensions for checking if the email is open.

I am not in that niche, I am a coder/dev.

My stats on job board sites specialized in my niche have 80% reply because I use a custom-made extension to be one of the first to apply to the job,
don't have a template but do a bit of research before the proposal and focus on ways of solving the problem. So not b*****, straight to the point. Land a client in 40% of cases.

For cold mailing, did try in my niche, without a template just to research like in job posting sites and write nice each time unique proposal. Success rate: 0% so far. Maybe a few replies will have you in mind aka just to be polite.

I m sure this must work, but maybe some tweaks are needed aka trial and error until it starts working.

Maybe give one template for free, pay $6 monthly for gsuite, and buy a domain, create a landing page with examples and fake testimonials of clients. (Not 100% legit but most of the sellers do this), so you will look more legit, and not like someone who provides low quality.

Add social media pack where you will for $40 ex offer a few more things: like profile optimization, you can contact some coder to write an app for you which will be based on a few criteria make a list of 100 potential buyers which they will contact in DM, etc, etc...

So this above I didn't write from personal experience, cold emailing at least for my services isn't going well.

Will try for the affiliate. The key is to have/make an irresistible offer.

Aka you gave them the idea, the template whether is watermarked or not, there is nothing stopping them to go to Fiverr and for $5 get these images. You need to deliver something which is very hard to decline.

So what's the secret sauce to make this work, I don't know.

Maybe something like...

our company wants to help small business owners. You can order the package here {link} with a coupon for 40%. The coupon is valid next 24 hours. (Here you are making urgency, so you will get some impulsive buys.) I don't know, the concept looks nice, maybe with a few tweaks you can make it work.

Thanks for the share @Ozzyzig

TBH at first I discounted this as too much effort for too little reward, but it kept popping into my head...

...so I thought about it more.

Anyways, imo, an irresistible offer is the key here (as stated by a couple of other members).

I do like this as a base concept tho.

And there are potential ops for jv's if you think a tiny bit outside of the box here guys.

That's exactly what I think as well.

This concept is great as a "stepping stone" to a more lucrative way to make more money. Your offer needs to be irresistible, an offer that they cannot deny.

The point of this offer is not to make a lot of money, rather it is to build trust, so you can sell them your real product/service.
