- when doing a 301 redirection to my money site, does the aged domain I buy need to be in the same niche for the boost to work?
-how to setup the 301 redirection? just the aged domain url redirecting to my site url? or better to setup wordpress, install a redirection plugin and redirect each url (retrieved from google console or waybackmachine) from aged domain to my site?

Sorry totally missed it.

1. Non-relevant domains can work also. However, if we're aiming for long-term results, we should stick to relevant domains. We use the 301 acquisition technique. Here's one case study I published recently:

2. The best way is the 301 acquisition technique. You create an acquisition page on your money website with content saying "we have acquired the aged domain" with internal links to your money pages. After that, you 301 the aged domain to that acquisition page via Cloudflare (easy to do). If you read the above case study, you'll get a good idea. Here's an example of acquisition page:
