I feel you. I think we often take for granted how amazing it is when you are simply "accepted" as you are. We live in a world and system where it's all about merits, appearances, status, how much you earn, size of your house, type of car, how you dress, your job/career, if you're balding or not, if you got a big nose, and a million other prejudices. It's so toxic man. You can barely breathe anymore just existing. People who were just born and haven't even done anything yet in life are already condemned and judged, like WTH man.
So it's so refreshing and amazing when you experience the state or feeling of being welcomed, accepted, and treated with respect, value, and worth for just being you.
I think this holds true in relationships too. If you ever find friends or a companion who truly loves you for just you, never let that go. It's more precious than gold or silver.

There are a lot of us and have been for centuries. Some of us voluntarily choose to live in cracks and crevices we have fallen into and some not by choice, but either way, both are in the dark, unseen, unacknowledged, and often unwelcomed. We are the Morlocks, the children of the night, you name it.... there are a lot more of us than people in this world realize. They are surrounded by the people of the dark everyday in their lives but they don't realize or notice it. They cook your food, clean your house, deliver your mail, take out your trash, maybe even save your life from time to time. It's crazy isn't it? The invisible doesn't mean we don't exist. You just can't see us or choose not to.
