confiscated my money of about 2000 €. Previously, it had made exorbitant deductions from my money as a dispute fee.

already has thousands of negative reviews on trustpilot

I would definitely not recommend using Paypal. I lost a lot of money because of paypal

I know a lot of people who are facing the same problem as me.

As far as I know they are legal scam

I will avoid using it I have been using it but it takes a lot of money as you said, maybe payoneer is the best way to go

Basically they will let you voilate their tos and then steal your money.
This is well known over here, you should have seen this coming and planned accordingly, sealth paypal, other payment gateway there are dozens of them.

The reasons @shop has explained are exactly why sellers are moving away from accepting Paypal. And, dear folks, remember one thing if you are a seller : Gone are the days when any buyer would ask you "Why don't you accept Paypal ?" , if they do, then reply "Because, I want to avoid selling to people who will scam me".... Because, now everyone is already aware of what Paypal does. Infact, the moment a potential buyer asks "Do you accept Paypal ?", that is the first signal that the potential buyer is most probably a potential scammer !!! Not accepting Paypal for payment is now a mormal thing and any seller who is accepting Paypal is only going to give away most of his or her services for free, because buyers are aware that if the product or service is digital in nature and a buyer opens a dispute, then Paypal always favors the buyer. Accepting Paypal nowadays is like offering your services for free !!! Choice is your's : You want to work for money OR you want to work for free. Make the correct choice, times have already changed and people are aware of things happening.
If you are selling a physical product shipped to buyers, where in you get a proof of shipping, then accept Paypal,. If you are selling a non-physical (digital) product or service, it is better not to accept Paypal, because if you do in that case, you will only be working for free. Make the correct choice, be bold.

Leaving a bad review of Paypal is absolutely futile.

They did the same to me 1 month ago! Welcome to the club!

but what exactly did you do? There are always two sides to a story, sometimes three.
