I have a whitehat niche site where most of my earnings are coming from. However, these past 4 months, I noticed an exact copy of my website. What's the worst thing is that this copycat website is ranking better than me. I have already reached the owner of the site and asked them to stop copying my contents. But instead of stopping, they continued. I already reached their hosting but it seems that they are hosted on offshore hosting. I also filed a DMCA report on Google but no action has been taken. The last thing that I am thinking to get back to the copycat website is backlink spamming using undesirable keywords such as adult and pharma keywords. Anyone already tried this method to fight against copyscrapers?

that just means your site is weaker than his lol. Build stronger links, higher authority triumphs!

What you just said is obvious. Lol! But you're missing the point here. My concern is the stolen content. I don't care if we have the same niche and topic as long as he's not stealing my content.

DMCA complain is the action you can get but if he not stopping try to do negative SEO

Negative SEO is a big no-no as it's just wasting your time and money. Better keep focus on filing DMCA report to google until they took actions. Yes this process will take a long time but once it's done, they're done.

The last thing you might wanna do is try to build stronger links, optimize your onpage, silo your site, etc to beat them on serp.

Better dont mind him and focus increase your site quality.

Deal with it. That's how life works man :'(

Just as a heads up, we can’t talk about neg SEO in here afaik.
