Is there any distributor that allows Content ID method?
Most of them freeze accounts when they find out that someone uses songs to claim YT videos...

I'm currently using DistroKid and just got paid 3.1k $ for ContentID method (kind of, it's a "remix" of what is here with my idea added).

Been using it for the last 8 months. These are my last 4 payouts.

Hi, thank you for your answer! I'm also using Distrokid, but I'm afraid that they are gonna freeze my account is some point. I have read a lot of posts about how they freeze accounts and don't pay out money. Repost Network has frozen my account after just one video uploaded with my song, and TuneCore has demonetized my songs after 1 month.
I saw the post where you wrote that you don't use the same PS? can you explain it a little bit more?
Would you share some of your ideas, how you keep being in the "safe zone"? (You can also answer me in PM if you want).

I got paid for August(my first month) it was around 500 dollars, but last month was insane with views, every video I upload gets 300k, 700k, and some over 1m views, and for my next payment I expect over $4 000.
Now I'm looking for more safe distributors to use, don't want to stick just with Distrokid, and also trying to figure out how to not get frozen.

your niche? re-upload or your music remix?
And you think I'm going to give out my niche on public? When I wrote "remix", it was really just a word. I am not doing music remixes.

I wanted to say i put my own twist on the known method, and I "remixed" (modified) into a better one and a steady source of revenue.

And to answer a bit of your question... NO, I do not re-upload other people work.

Do you drive traffic via bot or organic?
All organic. Mostly from search, recommends and "play next". I never invested in a SMM panel or a bot farming for YT

Distrokid has a lot of bad reviews, any other options?

Who cares about the reviews when u get paid? I don't :) Other good option (that I use, in parallel with DistroKid) is Amuse, but for the Pro plan they have a yearly fee of 60$

And I also have a song put on CDBaby because I had a voucher for 50% discount and it costed me only 5$ / song :) I mix them all, not keeping all my eggs in 1 basket.

Hello bro i am from Russia. I also use the cointent id distrokid and youtube for earn. but lately they started deleting tracks and freezing money. I'm surprised how you manage to still receive payments. They start blocking the sums over 1000 $ at once

Of course I admit I use music where it is prohibited, for example anime. But still, distrocid has no evidence that I am doing this myself and not someone else, a very unfair situation with freezing money. I hope you will not face such a problem.

They froze your money and didn't pay you or you have read somewhere that they are doing it?

It's just that I'm very interested in what you are uploading there, that you have not been banned either

I also do not advise you to work Believe music, Cd baby, Routnote they also freeze and do not pay.

I upload compilations videos, but I don't think it matters what you upload, I think they track if your song is uploaded many times on the same channel and maybe it is not about a distributor, probably youtube sends a warning to them and they have to ban an account/song.
I got my first check it was only $500, which is maybe a reason why Distrokid did not ban me. But I expect a ban very soon because I expect about $4k for the last month.

I will also try to put a song somewhere in the middle of the video, and not at the end. I don't know maybe it helps. Have you tried?

amounts less than 1000 dollars are paid to me very often and the chance of a ban is small. Unfortunately, I can say with great confidence that you will not be paid $ 4000, your music will be removed and your money will be frozen

will wait for your answer on the day when your music will be removed, and this will happen 100%.

I would say just start using DistroKid until they hit you up but find a 2nd or 3rd distributor so that whenever you get in trouble with DistroKid your other stuff is still safe.

I've been lucky up to this point with DistroKid using them for 2 years with no problem just got my biggest payout on Wednesday/Thursday from them for $2k so they're paying when you don't get in trouble.

I would never use TuneCore if you haven't used them yet they're definitely going to freeze you but they did pay me even after that point.

The one that I'm going to have to give a shot is CD Baby to get my songs that were finally released from the TuneCore contract over to CD Baby.

You guys are talking about closing accounts. Didn't u see my payouts 2nd reply ? I mean, I work with them for the last 2 years and they paid me with no problem every time

Of course they will close your account if you're doing the same shit everyone is doing (tiktok compilations). That is a well known method.

Use your own brains to find better opportunities and Niches, so you don't share the revenue with others or get your account closed
