Is this Youtuber using clickbait thumbnails and not getting punished?

In my opinion this guy's thumbnails go against the community guidelines.

• Misleading Metadata or Thumbnails: Using the title, thumbnails, description, or tags to trick users into believing the content is something it is not.

What do you think? Is youtube just very lax in enforcing this rule?

the bots won't realize that from themselves, to them the thumbnail has no nudity no violence no copyright issues so its safe, that's why it's so easy to manipulate youtube, especially when it comes to mass reuploaded contents

2nd thumbnail looks fine dont know how this is related to video

Did you get a problem with that OP? You can use misleading thumbnails too.

I don't think there are any problems he is using deceptive thumbnails which is a part of the process to get organic views somehow and get your CTR up. The tags look alright and the title is more of a trending topic thing (Meme Specific) and I really like the idea of the channel to use the voice-over with the humor side of reviewing the movie. His meta directs people to the real streaming website to watch the movies legally so there shouldn't be any problem here.

OP you can also do similar things with your videos.

Thanks for the answers guys. I was curious as to how he was getting away with the thumbnails. I was too afraid to use them myself because my channel has been taken down accidentally for "deceptive thumbnails and titles" before.

actually, even tho it's clickbait, it's not illegal. in the first video, he's talking about squid game, despite he use porn version of squid game, the thumbnail isn't really contains nudity. thus it's acceptable
on the second video, he's talking about other video, but in the description he put 'Re:zero live action, basically", the thumbnail itself is a woman cosplay as re:zero character, called Rem (just google : Rem cosplay). which that's why this is also acceptable.

clickbait is acceptable since it's related with the video. if you have video about basketball and put sexy basketball woman (sexy, not nude) in the thumbnail. it's probably acceptable. but if your video is about basketball and you put woman in swimsuit as thumbnail. youtube obviously will punish your channels.
