EU legislation introduced to ban anonymous domain registration

Newbie here yes :)
But UE legislation is a part of my "real" work :)
For the moment, it's only a hypothesis of work.
Have a look here https://oeil.secure.europarl.europa.eu/oeil/popups/ficheprocedure.do?reference=2020/0359(COD)&l=en
There are few steps to success before.
Even in the worst case, you can rent a phone number.
I knew that it was not done yet, posted for others to get informed only, so I did just assume you where a newbie, since you assumed I was upset in some way. Never assume things you don´t know anything about, calling someone a sweetie in this way, does say more about you than me. So I assumed your a newbie as well.

EU wants to regulate the whole internet. They become China 2.0, no joke. They talk about privacy and security, but its all just about gathering information of the people and controlling the big american companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.

With such a regulation, the domain registrar companies will see a drop in revenue, because the number of domains bought for "churn & burn" in my opinion is very high and who would support something that would lead to a drop in their revenues ? Certain parties related to this, may not be in favour of such regulations.

So a regulation that only hurts and puts a hurdle in front of legit people and businesses. Anyone else is just going to sidestep like a none retarded person. Yup sounds like the EU.

Well, this would only apply to registrars based in the EU, would it not? So unless you are using some country specific TLD, you should be ok.

And for the address/number requirement comments, simply get a virtual office/corresponding address and virtual number. Problem solved.
