Dead body cannot be hidden in 2nd page now!

Yeah, it will roll over now.

On topic: any links to the news? Sounds interesting from usability perspective.

Wow this is huge, does this include desktops? Where did you read about this?

Mobile only for now it seems. Figures.

I'm wondering if the additional pages will be just straight appendage of old 2nd page or some new customization will come into play during loading.

From today, Google is rolling out continuous scrolling on SERP.
But that doesn't mean sites occupying position 11 and above would notice any serious change in traffic.

The first result on almost every search gets almost all the clicks. Sites from position 4 down to 10 get almost nothing unless the keyword is very high search volume keyword, something like tens of thousands of daily search.

One of my website has pages occupying position 4 to 12, these pages attract less than 100 daily visits because most users click on no 1 and have their answers.

That’s still 3K a month, not that bad tbh.

Yes, the site gets around 3k a month but for the niche, you can't make anything with that traffic. It's not an affiliate blog or anything similar. The site is supposed to be monetized with ads.

this can negatively affect Google's advertising revenue, who will now even consider ads

So getting your pages on first page is a breeze now in mobile, thanks Google .. Nice argument for a closed sell then .. =)

Do you think they didn’t think about this? Ads will probably be shown before the new content is shown after scrolling down. So it’s probably a bigger win for them.

probably every other result will be an ad?
