Hey everyone.

My name's Kasper, 22 years old, from Denmark. This is my journey to hopefully reach $100/month in ads revenue. I have an AdSense account connected to the site.

I didn't start this journey from day 1, since I have a tendency to give up on stuff within a week, so it's all on purpose.

The blog niche is finance, specifically for Denmark. I know there's more money in going international, and a lot of better options SEO and linkbuilding wise. This is sadly not possible for me, since I can't keep up with all international laws and such. I'd rather deliver good work instead rushed material no one can use.

I plan to get traffic from Facebook groups related to my niche. New articles up every Friday morning at 7 AM. There's a "Share your recent blog post"-post in one of the bigger Facebook groups on Friday mornings, where I then share my new article.

Currently, only 2 blog posts up, 5 in drafts, plus 1 going online on Friday.

The website went online on September 20th, 2021. Here's the Analytics since then.

If there's any other way, perhaps a better way, to show Analytics, I'd love to hear about it.

My plan is to update this thread daily, if it makes sense to do so. At least 1 update per week.

Good luck on your journey, and dive into Reddit as well, as i know every country has its own subreddit where people want to know everything happening in their country, share your daily post there, and if there is no subreddit dedicated to your country, well that's a good sign!

Good Luck

Good Luck with this Journey Mate.
I am having similar Project "Educational Blog" + "Youtube Channel"
Aim is to Earn $300 from Adsense.

Good luck with this Journey

Why not other social media or Google ?

Right now, I am a really, really small fish. I REALLY optimize my posts in terms of SEO (90-100 points on Rank Math, on all posts), but eventually I hope to begin ranking on Google :)

I am trying Reddit as well now, thanks to:

Seems to be a reachable goal if you keep up with your posts.
best of luck op.

I think $100 per month is very doable. After you hit $100, you should shoot for $1,000. I'm excited to see your progress!

good Luck. Soon you will reach your goal.

A week has passed. New update.

Posted 2 articles and both of them were very well-received.

One of my keywords has actually started ranking on Google as well, and bringing in about 2-3 visitors per day (I'll do some paid linkbuilding to this, to improve rankings from about 40-60 to 1-5, shouldn't be too expensive).

New blog post hopefully going live by Friday, so I can promote it.

Rejected by AdSense, but expected due to only 2 articles live at the time.

Nothing to worry about, It will take time and consistency, keep going!

I also want to earn with Adsense but they put restrictions like ad limit.

Good luck with your journey, I'm in for the ride. You've done half the job already - started the website, the other half is not giving up :)

Maybe show weekly instead of daily, it shows a better overview due to daily spikes.

Are you capturing readers' info somehow? Since you're not approved on AdSense yet, there's not much use of traffic you get from posting on FB and Reddit before you start earning from it, you should try at least capturing email (offer them timely updates, etc), even if you get only 1% to subscribe, it's still an asset for the future and will bring regular traffic in once the list builds up.

You can do this easily through MailChimp, free plan gives you up to 2.000 subscribers and you can set up popup easily.

And for SEO, you should try to rank for some low competition keywords to provide you with sustainable traffic.
