I don't come here as often as i used to, and this is probably the first time since may/june. I don't plan on checking this often so please direct any discussion towards others and not at me. Thank you.

lets begin.

1.) Take $100 out of your next pay check to pay for IM activities. If you can't afford that, then you're probably making excuses and don't really want to give IM a shot. Do it.

2.) Buy yourself a domain. Load it with key words. Nice, juicy keywords. Go local; less competition and better targetting. There are plenty of topics on this. Look them up.

(PS - nice localised keywords give me front page on google within a week on search terms with 250,000 results. Not too much competition ... but i did NO seo. At all. Go figure.)

3.) Hosting. Your choice. You need it. Don't skimp because it shows. Try to support quite a few domains.

4.) Now try any strategy you want; you know 2 things about your viewers; location & keywords. Gives you a huge amount of leverage for CPA offers or similar. You could monetize traffic via CPM. Or go the "old-fashioned" route and make a sales/squeeze page, or even a review website. Maybe mix a few?

(PS - if you're stuck for ideas, their are many, many WP plugins for SEO, and many templates for salespages/static websites. Look them up).

5.) Wait. Organic traffic will build slowly. You can give it a push in many ways, or none at all. I'd recommend some simple link-building to start, then maybe buy traffic, if not for revenue, to help establish the domain.

Thats it. Nothing new, at all.

If i can throw together a website, get a well searched term on the front page of google (by using good keyword selection) and monetize it ... all in 24 hours, you can too.

I'll accept that i HATE web design, it is not my strong point. I'm forced to use pre-existing graphics and templates because i'm too stubborn to JV with a designer or hire someone. Don't worry about it. Solutions exist. Take your time and enjoy it.

Expect your first one to take you a week if you've no experience at graphic design. After that, expect to do them in a day.

Even if you have the "average" keywords and an "average" sales page ... you'll still get traffic, and you'll still get conversions. 0.3% may not make you happy, but at least you've got something to improve.

This seems more motivational than anything else, but thats it. Theres no big secret. Website = traffic = money.

Even if it takes you 5 trys to get some good keywords, domain and sales page. Thats $30 worth of domains. Thats a few beers and a meal.

200 hits a day converting at 2% on a $30 offer is $120/day. Not only is this very realistic to achieve it's also easier than you'd ever know.

Worth a shot isn't it?

Well put. This should be part of the noobs required reading.

Awesome post. You could sell this as an fool-proof IM insiders guide on DP for $50, and it would be better than all the crap ppl drop $200+ on every other week.

cool post very helpful to me as i m noob.:alcoholic

How do you get keywords in this range?

How do you get keywords in this range?

Go to
Code:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

And put a near by decent sized city or town. You should come up with some keywords with that town in it. I did one search and found a keyword that gets like 40,000 searches a month with 171,000 results with quotes around the keyword.

Okay guys I have always wanted to try geotargeting, but can it be done without finding keywords like new york mechanic or something like that?

I mean when they search general keywords, but are from a specific area?
