I think if significant changes are not made in your adwords account , you are safe
Blocking crawlers on your site can work differently, you can simply test if it works to get the site url approved

Most probably u get ad disapproved cause bots cant access it. To be honest i cant think any positive side (or results) of blocking the bots accessing your site.

Blocking GAds bots is not a good practice as far as the longevity of the GAds account is concerned. Instead of that why not use a cloaker ? Cloaker does not block GAds bots, but rather (based on the bot IPs) it filters the traffic to a safe page or the money page. Likewise many people get into anti-detect, which is also nowadays bad as far as GAds accounts are concerned. Instead of anti-detect it is safe to camouflage to the more rarer user agent strings.

You can block all bots, except AdsBot-Google and AdsBot-Google-Mobile. The user agents of the bots can be found here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/overview-google-crawlers#crawlers

1) If you have posted an ad and these two bots are blocked before posting it, your ad will get disapproved.

2) If you get an ad approved and then you block the AdsBot, your ad will get disapproved after few hours/days since the ad re-review is automatic.

And if you want to block bots, because you want to add blackhat elements to website after aproval, and don't want Google to know this, blocking bots will do nothing, because they check it multiple times daily from various residential IP's, which are not recognised as a bot
