G Stack for Local SEO

Hi guys,

curious to hear your thoughts and experiences with g stacking lately for local SEO and Map ranking.
- is it worth buying a basic g stack or do you need to stack it with backlinks?
- are the backlinks that sellers provide in the package linking to the g stack itself or to your website?
- do you buy one stack or multiple?
- and do you buy them here or on other platforms? What’s your max price worth paying?

mostly interested in increasing my google map ranking.. I usually linger around 4 and 5 but hard to get into top 3.

It isn't worth it nowadays imho.. Google devalued their stack a long time ago when it was spammed.

Creating the proper structures is messy and time consuming.
Just not worth the time, I'd argue.
I've seen some results from them in the past, but it's better to get a nice PBN post and power it up, or use internal linking of long-tail blog posts, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions on the PBN post. Do you target the GMB listing URL with the PBN post or are you saying to power up your domain to help rank in the GMB map pack?

I think it's fine to use PBN links, niche edits, etc, for local seo.
I have an affiliate project I'm working on, right now, which uses mass page local structures, and it's showing progressive rankings just from purchasing these types of links.
As far as powering up the GMB, I'm not too sure about that, as I dropped a grand on a service called GMB Genie, last year, and they took my money, but didn't build my listings.

So, I just haven't jacked with all that in a long while.
I will say that if you try it, you probably wanna be sure to build links to your GMB CID URL.
It looks like: https://maps.google.com/maps?cid=0000000000000000000

If you search how to find it, it's not difficult to spot.
That's the permanent address of your GMB, and not the shortened or maps-based URL.
I've seen videos of some guys saying that they build links to that ID, and it works.

If you can get PBNs to embed your GMB, that'd be pretty sweet, too.
I'm sure some of them would do it for you... I don't see why not.
I've had a little success with GMBs, but there are many guys out-there who are much better qualified to comment on that front...

I tried g stacking about a year ago and it made no difference to ranking whatsoever.
