Road to $2100 per Month

I think you would be better-off with a labor oriented monetization system.
Like Fiverr, Konker, Legiit, or just outright making phone calls to small businesses.

Getting to $2k with an affiliate site, or some other SEO method, is gonna take like two years, or something.
I've seen some very detailed professional case studies, and they don't even achieve what you are describing in a year's time.
Not saying it's not possible, it's just not a good starting goal.

If you setup some microservices, though... you can definitely start shifting your income.
If you can make websites, you can even just call local businesses, and make money immediately.
You can sell simple websites every single day, pretty much.

Good luck on your journey. btw some suggestion if you want to quit your job, you need at least 4k/month. since income from a site is fluctuative and can be cutted a lot when google or whatever your traffic source is, decided to screw with you.

Your planning is good and try to post more article soon. Appreciating your journey to attain your goal.
Good luck.

This seems like it will take time to start generating good revenue but every one hast to start somewhere.

Thank for your suggestion, but I think I will learn a lot more stuff by simply going this way.

Yes, it's going to be a grind.

I think I see meaningful income in about three months, let's wait and see.

It will take you 6 months to get out of Google's sandbox period.

Even if you do everything perfectly, you will not see organic traffic until then.

You should focus your journey on getting XXXX amount of articles published.

I've learnt from folks here that the quickest way to get out of sand box is by targeting low to no volume keywords. Which I 'm doing. Hope it works.

Is the point to make money, or to have a "learning experience"? (heh)
I'm not saying you shouldn't do longtail blogs... that's almost my #1 recommendation on a regular basis, but I'm saying that if you start with it, and expect to make a lot in a short period of time, that's not a good goal.
It's a very long-term method, and you also need a short term method to fund your long-term projects.
Anyways... unfollowing at this point, but I wish you well, sir! :)

Okay, let's cut to the chase, the fluff, or whatever you want to call it. I don't have all day here.

The Goal
$2100 per month

Method
Trial and error: will test first. But in my mind; I'm thinking a combination of ad networks and Amazon.

Niche
None of your business

My Experience
Newbie who loves to procrastinate. That said, I can mumble jumble my own articles to get started.

What's my intention for going public
To curse, kill, bury, and banish procrastination forever. Posting this journey will keep focused, centered and motivated. And especially with helpful members in this community around; this is my best shot at success (you guys rock).

What do I have so far
A website on an expired domain with little seo advantage.

8 article posted so far

0 traffic (the site is new, it only got index two days ago)

As you can see, I'm all over the place: Lord have mercy, I hope I don't make a fool of myself here. But I have nothing to lose; well my time. You get the point though.

With all of that said, let's get rolling. And Oh, the reason for the $2100 per month is because I want to quit my job but need the equivalent amount to take care of the family.
I hope it goes well for you ! Good luck to you i hope oyu and your family have great health and luck may God bless you !

Following. Started a similar journey inspired by @Bloooop and @Kikerinka. Published 50 posts in one month. What's your KW strategy? And do you only show the pillar articles on the homepage?

I guess it will be Interesting to follow this thread and gain some knowledge from the experts

Good luck with your journey buddy, hope everything works according to your plan

New Year Update

I first want to wish everyone a great, wonderful, happy, and prosperous 2022.

You haven't hear from me in a long while, and I'm sorry. You guys are so helpful and really; I could've done better to keep you in the loop.

That said, alot has happen:

Published 100+ articles

Site got deleted because I did not had enough funds on my card at the time for renewal.

Got the site back up, (thank goodness I had a backup)

Got the site up and running again but Google stopped indexing it. Likewise bing and the other search engines kicked me out (my posts wasn't showing up the any serp)

I was confused, frustrated, depressed, and wanted to terminate everything. But...

I keep going.. I simply started from scratch (redirected the old urls to the news, Google didn't like that)

It was pains taking but slowing, the site was gaining backlinks (all natural) and forced Google to show me some love.

I then reported the issue to bing who seemed to fix some issues on their side, and slowing bing, yahoo, and duckduckgo began to show me some love and began sending me a few visitors (that kept me motivated).

More importantly, I begone to rank in Google, (still not getting traffic from Google but my keywords are increasing daily).

I then applied for adsense and ezoic and got accepted.

That's pretty much where everything is at this moment.

My plans? The site has a lot of issues with hreflang in ahref (free version). I need to fix those but I simply don't know how. The reason I'm getting these issues is because I used translatepress free plugin to offer my site in another language, and this is the cause of these issues.

That said, I read that translatepress takes care of the hreflang tags on each page of the other language but I don't know why ahref is showing me those errors.

There are no issues recorded in Google search console, so I don't know what up. But I need to get to the bottom of it. Any advice?

Some screenshots below of my progress, site only start earning peanuts within the last seven days:

SMALL UPDATE

Nothing much to be honest.

But the site is only 3 months old so I don't expect miracles at this moment.

Added to that I haven't done much work on this site.

But I've found a nice cluster of keywords that I will now target to get this journey back on track.

Here's a snippet of my daily earnings and visits. I will post a more indept review at the end of this month.
