Hello fellows,

Today I found an expired domain but the problem is that it is on the brand name like the brand name is TinTin but instead of TinTin the domain name is TinTinD.
If I buy the domain and create content different from the TinTin brand.
They can give me DMCA strike? Should I buy the domain or not. Please, guys, suggest me.

Thanks

The stats of the domain is here:- https://prnt.sc/1uxk7k7
The domain is neat and clean. No spam history.

Nobody????

Check is that trademark registered.
If yes - it is a risky thing, but nothing knows does that brand checking for such domains.

Assume it's trademarked and evaluate the chances that the company will press any charges.
It is highly unlikely that they will pursue filing DMCA complaints about a simple blog.
What I'm suggesting you involves a certain risk, but if you manage to flip it fast, it might pay a nice reward.

Checked it. Nothing found. No trademark at all.

Good. But they can still send you google DMCA i think.
Does that brand contains some dictionary words in it ?
Suppose brand name is TinTin.com
The domain name is TinTindPBN.com

Thanks

In my opinion you have a risk to get google DMCA.
Of course if you rank somewhere near original domain.
I assume you will not try to compete in rankings with original as domain will be for PBN.
And as it is not registered trademark - i would go for it.

This is my amateur opinion :)

I won't go near the original trademarked website. I will add totally different content.

Used the same. Thanks bro

Depends on how you want to use that domain.

If you want to create main site on that it will be risky. You will get DMCA once your site gets popular.

Instead you can do 301.

I am thinking to create a new website on it because it can rank easily. Want to monetize from Adsense.

No trademark. Good Metrics. Clean domain. What are you waiting for!
It's on auction. I am on top with $15 bid. Today the result will be announced.

Hopefully you can get it! Make sure to double check it for cleanliness since buying at auction is no guarantee. I’ve seen lots of terribly spammed domains with lots of 3-figure bids.
