Hey everyone, Last 2 days I feel sudden drop in Google rankings. Until Oct 2 one of my page is in 2nd page suddenly oct 3 it came to 4th page. I checked about Algorithm updates it's about Title tag. My tag is in correct didn't stuff keywords or didn't add irrelevant title. I'm following right SEO methods eventhough every month I'm facing this issue. Bring up to 2nd page and next month again going to 3rd or 4th page. Kindly anyone let me know what I'm doing wrong and what needs to be developed.

Did you make any changes at the site?
Maybe this can help

No I didn't make any changes. Last week my website broken I fixed it.
Hmm, strange, I hope someone provides the right answer, but I know that in the last few days strange things happening generally with google, maybe that has some impact.

Check if google did something big by looking at the volatility of SERP

It could be a change in google algorithm (they are mostly unannounced), and with the new factors in place your website may have lost authority due to bad links recently discovered, or recently added to the google black list.

Hi,

There are a number of reasons why your site traffic may have dropped, and it's important to identify the root cause so you can take appropriate action. Some common reasons include:

1. A change in your site's ranking on search engines.

2. A change in the way that people are searching for information online.

3. Your site's rankings have fallen as a result of Google updates such as Panda, Penguin, and Pigeon.

4. Your website's content may not be providing adequate value for your customers or users, or it might be out of date or simply no longer relevant.

5. If you've recently refreshed the design of your website - perhaps by changing themes on WordPress for instance - then visitors may have noticed the change and taken a while to get used to it. This could be the cause of your site's traffic loss, and it may take visitors time to get accustomed to the new look and feel of your website.

Oooh this is really strange. I have heard a lot of people say this in the past few days. Maybe because of the November core update.

Hope you get an answer! And things get sorted for everyone!

Hello,

"A sudden Google ranking drop can be caused by many major factors, such as for instance content changes, an algorithm update, technical issues, improvements competitors made, SERP lay-out changes, and a Google penalty. We've put together a handy checklist to quickly diagnose the issue and recover your rankings!"

It might be because of some new update from Google and it will come back to normal in some time.

It's happening with everyone's, even my keywords which were on the 1st page, are now on the second page, and the reason is google update, it weird but it's happening with everyone.

If you are not applying aggressive seo on your site, wait for the google algorithm update to be completely finished. There is an average of 20 days of algorithm updates. We recommend that you continue to enter content without making major changes to your site.
