Considering buying an autopilot website

I'm thinking of buying an autopilot site (I've seen several offers on the forum).
My goal is very simple: to work as little as possible. I want something that runs more or less by itself, feeds itself. And of course, I'm going to put some advertising on it, so that it will bring me some money.
I know that some people here have this type of site, so I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages before going there.

It's ok for me.
BUT : what I don't want, is to pass 5 hours per day.
Because I don't have this time. I have an 'official' business to manage (and to save) that takes me 10h/day. I don't want to stop my actual business. But I need extra money. That's why I'm considering autopilot.

The main question is indexation. It will bring you some traffic if posts are getting indexed. Otherwise, it is a waste of time.

If you work 10h/day and is not enough money you might wanna re-consider your main one. Also auto-blogging might work - but the easy money on autopilot mindset not. Use the extra time to make a proper side website or project, it's more worth it then trying your luck

I wouldn’t bother personally. These things are hard enough to profit from when you’re building networks or custom ones (I’ve worked with both in the past).

The chances of you making a return on a DFY one is going to be slim. I’d put your money elsewhere.

Since there are questions: in absolute terms, my main activity is profitable. Except that from now on, I have to pay 50% of my turnover to taxes.
Hence the need to make up the shortfall.
