Hello guys I been using metamask for chrome for sometime, and so far everything is good. I am now using a second wallet on firefox, before installing it I got this message : This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing. Reviews are mostly positive but there are some negative. is this as safe as chome version or not?
Is Metamask safe on Mozilla firefox?

I use on Firefox to hold my tokens with no problem.What I do I disable metamask when not in use the crypto is actually stored on the blockchain.
I think as long as you don't connect to websites you don't trust you should be ok right? also can you please confirm that this is the one you use? : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ether-metamask/

That is the one.If you don't like firefox there is one for the Brave browser as well

How does a vpn/private browser help preventing a malicious transaction signing????
that has nothing to do with metamask. you must have made a mistake when writing your seed. I can help you recover it if you still have the 12 words
