Use a SaaS software that don't use your account or put it at risk.. there are softwares available that provide automated prospecting using thier cloud accounts!

Reaching out on Linked in is not cheap. They basically monetize your every PM and to buy additional "InMail" credits, you pay like $80 per every 10 more. See below:
InMail lets you contact people beyond your immediate network directly on LinkedIn. Sending an InMail requires 1 credit, but you’ll get the credit back if you receive a response to your message.
Technically you can avoid paying the contact credit fee, if you "connect" with the person you are trying to reach. Beyond that, the cost of sending PMs depends on your response rate.

You could use 3rd party "providers" (spammers), but that decision depends on what kind of brand you have or want to have. For most legit business this would be a BAD idea.

Yes reaching out to prospects through traditional LinkedIn way is too costly, but there are tools out there that even automate the reaching out to prospects in very economical costs.

You mean accounts with many connections, all operated by a script? That is indeed cheaper but not many businesses can afford the brand risk that this type of mass PMing brings.

Lots of people are on there looking to sell their offers or find a new job.

No spam filter like emails either so astronomically higher open rate.

I believe everything because linkedin offers lots of tools for prospecting, however it thoroughly watch for those members who abuse some functions and restrict their accounts. Nevertheless, there are some great services like sales navigator which is created specially for marketers, and, of course there are someother tools which aren't created by linkedin, but they're quite useful. Despite the fact, that you should spend lots of time in order to build a great marketing campaign, linkedin is a great replacment for facebook for example or instagram. It can possibly generate you much more leads, than those two ones.

It's great because you can target even the most niche prospects.

While it might be too optimistic to call it the "best" it is certainly up there where lead generation is concerned. It might get a bit pricey here and there on several aspects, but over all it's a hotspot for people looking for and providing offers or job opportunities.
Certain functionalities that limit other services are also present here so there's that.

Yes its good, I have got big ticket clients/contracts from there. But it depends on the niche/products. Mostly works well with offline products

LinkedIn is the most popular social media site for professionals. It is an excellent place for business development leads since it is the best place to find your target clients. People are more likely to trust those leads since they are from someone they already know. LinkedIn gained its popularity because recruiters, HR professionals and headhunters use this platform to look for possible candidates for job openings or to find new employees.

For getting leads, linkendl is obviously the best to get b2b leads.

Also for getting clients, there used to be a profinder features. It has been discontinued but few of the accounts that was able to activate it then, can haunt for professional clients easily.
