Yeah, I gotta agree with what others here have already noted, OP's conversion rate wasn't very good but I feel like a lot of people misconstrue what the general purpose is behind Mass DMs. I would almost never recommend running Mass DMs for the sake of attaining a greater follower count as there are simply just much more cost effective ways of garnering exposure on IG. Mass DMs are amazing for lead generation and the promotion of specific products/services (i.e. CPA, Crypto, IM services, etc.) but terrible in the context of growth and engagement (i.e. growing personal brand pages).

I've been running small 5k campaigns, testing tons of different sources and filters to find my best converting audience. I was (ironically) promoting my Mass DM software and I got terrible results in terms of followers and likes but my ROI on it was ridiculously good given it resulted in several big clients. I was also targeting specifically very prominent pages/personas so I was expecting even lower response rates than I had initially gotten given the fact that these profiles receive dozens of DM requests each day. I was still pleasantly surprised with the results, got a ton of major pages and influencers who ended up becoming clients. Some honorable mentions:

So I say all this because follower conversion rates on Mass DMs were never good in the first place, even back in early 2021 when it was first taking off. If follower growth is your primary objective, M/S is a significantly better and cheaper option for you. However, in the context of pushing a product or service of yours to a specific target audience, Mass DMing still works amazingly well and can get you a lot of high-value clients if you know what you're doing.

Surprisingly, not all that much yet. It has certainly become significantly more expensive to execute since the early days but in the grand scheme of things, it's still a very effective method for reaching thousands of hyper-targeted leads. I definitely sense an impending crackdown coming, similarly to what we've seen back in 2020, but I suppose the only thing we can do now is just milk it for what it's worth while we still can.

Those DMs are sent via bulk accounts, you can not send all those DMs from only one account. One account may send up to 30 DM per day.

I said max is 30 DMs based on my tests, 5-15 DM per day is safe.

There are many factors controle how many dm an account can send (age, quality of the account, trust factor, proxy, what type of DM you send ...).
