What is the best tools for tracking keywords and rank?

I have not built or ranked a website in a long time but I successfully have in the past for Digital gaming currency so when that ended I moved onto Amazon FBA so I am a noob in this field again but would love to get back into it.

What software and websites can BHW members recommend for tracking DA, backlinks, keyword, general ranking of my website etc? And what should I be tracking and keeping my eye on daily?

I do not mind paying for software or putting in the work.

I will be building my new websites on WordPress if that matters.

Thanks for any advice.

Rankie plugin does the work decently and it uses the server IP so you'll have plenty of google SERP checks to make (1 per 1-2 minutes),
I believe it's shared here for free, else you can check @Festinger' service and get it pretty cheap
 
We use the Rank Math Pro Wordpress plugin on all our sites to manage and optimise On-Page SEO.

For tracking rankings, backlinks, keywords etc we use Ahrefs and SEMrush :)

Recently I started using SEMRUSH and its a great tool.
 
I use SEMRush for a large project with multiple websites.
For smaller projects, I use Ubersuggest.

Between the two, I'd suggest Ubersuggest to start with, much more affordable, but has decent tracking and keyword research options.
SEMRush is incredibly powerful, but it's for power users, so you can easily switch after if you need it.

Try Dyno Mapper.
 
Maybe some of mentioned here are better, but they are paid tools.

As about free tool for me best is Ahrefs Webmaster Tools.
