Cloudflare CDN - Will it hurt my SEO?

Hi, I have a website with visitors that come all across the world and it's doing pretty well.

But, since the hosting is located at Europe, the pagespeed is lower for all American users, and this is for sure a ranking factor, mobile site speed.

I am thinking about adding the Cloudflare CDN, but I'm afraid in case it would affect my rankings.

On 2021, maybe Google doesn't care anymore about the server IP's, but I've read a post from 2015, that the rankings dropped to someone because they where sharing same Cloudflare IP with bad/spammy websites.

So, is it a good idea to add the CDN? Do you see any risks?

In case it affects my rankings, will I recover it if I go back to my normal settings?

Google loves fast websites, using a CDN is a great way to improve speed and help with rankings

It is a small possibility to get bad IP neighborhood.
You can check other sites hosted on that Cloudflare IP, and then check these sites on Semrush - are they ranking.

Properly configured Cloudflare increases website speed a lot.

A cdn not has a direct seo ranking affect -no, but when you use other cdn as cloudflare who need that you upset a cdn name record , like:www.mydomain or cdn.mydomain.com points to the cdn

At that momen your url becomes different becoms a subdomain, all seo experts saying to us that this is bad for seo right?
Please recognize this: when you url you have setup is https://mydomain , one year old with 200 posts on it...then you change this domain to:
www.mydomain.com or to cdn.mydomain.com these both are two different subdomains here!

Maybe- I think you can do a 301 redirect from https://mydomain to www.mydomain.com you will not lose ranking, but when your url becomes
cdn.mydomain.com, I bet that your seo rankings will get a huge drop.

All these big tech guys make your life hard sometimes, you have webhosting and domain registrar with email hosting separate, you pay money for this. The cdn provider wants that you change the nameservers- with that your email hosting stop working or you shopuld use a cdn.mydomain subdomain point to the cdn ip (point) you must delete your @ and www A records and you will get huge seo ranking drops. That not looks like a fair deal.

You pay and yopu email hosting stops working and your seo will drops they steal from you, so I be little bit sceptical with that.
The same with cloudflare change the nameservers and whooom, your email hosting stop sworking.

If you use pro or business version your rankings will go higher due to faster speed. Free version can be risky.

my friend faster speed is useless when the cdn provider force you to use a cdn.mydomain and deleting all your A records, only using that cdn domain, then you lose, no matter if you have pro or business plan.
